Excerpt: This digital camera is great for both beginner's and intermediate users. It's price is reasonable and this camera is of good quality. Battery goes along way. Very easy to move pictures from camera to your computer, a cd/dvd or memory stick. If you're looking for an easy to use camera, this is a good one to start with. Although this model doesn't come with a memory card, you can purchase one for a very reasonable price.
Excerpt: The Sanyo VPC-S500 is very easy to use and takes great pictures. This is our first digital camera and we have found that this camera is very easy to use. It is also very easy to upload pictures from the camera to our computer.
Summary: I paid only $15 total for this camera. It is a very nice camera for that price. It doesn't look so old like some of the other cheap cameras on ebay. It has a nice screen, the pictures look good for a 5 mp. I was worried they might be bad, but they are not. It has many features on it to take different pictures. The only downside is that I cannot plug it into my computer because it doesn't recognize it for some reason. I'm using Vista.
Summary: I got this camera from a gift. It looks very slim and compact. Unfortunately it always takes picture off the target because it takes 1-2 seconds to shutter after your press the button. I just gave it to my 2 year son as a toy.
Summary: For the money this camera is not a bad investment. I just bought it a few days ago and have used it quite a few times. The battery depletes a bit quickly but I have found that most digital cameras "eat up" batteries so this doesn't bother me much. The picture quality could be better but, like I said, for the money it isn't bad...
Summary: Cheap LCD display, but OK for $100. Pictures are pretty good quality, although the digital zoom sucks and makes your picture look like something from a NASA space probe launched in the 1970s. I had a problem using my 2GB mini-SD card, and had to create a 512mb partition because 2GB wouldn't work. I got it to crash hard once (my ROM version 1.03US). If you are on a budget or if you have never had a digital camera before, this is a good camera for you.
