Best small camera we have ever had the pleasure of working with..

Summary: So, e have hat the Xacti VPC HD Camera's for our underwater diving adventures, and they have worked so well everyone in our little group has one, and our underwater video;s are excellent. Well we thought it was time to update to the next model which has a underwater housing to match. We settled on the Xacti VPC CG 102. we actually used it underwater yesterday in the Southport Seaway, taking stills and video of all the critters and 2 x 100mm Sea Horses.
Summary: I grew up with film cameras and have owned Hi-8 digital video cameras as well as a Canon Sure Shot digital. The primary attractive feature of this camera is its amazing small size and ability to store hours of video. I bought a 32 GB card and only filled 17 GB on a two-week trip to Hong Kong with family, and I had the camera going alot. I love to take pictures and edit them into a DVD to share with family.
Summary: Before I bought this camera I did quite a bit of research on various others, like the Kodak Playsport the various Flips some from Sony and others. I also looked at other models offered by Sanyo. None of the cameras gave me everything I wanted. But this one gave me the most and at a very affordable price.
Summary: This is a great product. Considering the price, this is one of the best cam corder. The following things are facts that I did not like 1. The product is mostly made by plastic that feel cheap. 2. You cannot use it when you are charging the battery. (My previous Panasonic cam corder was able to use it during the charging with attached cable.
Summary: I absolutely hate this camera. Below are the pros and cons of this product - Pros - None Cons- - Video and photo does not work in low light - Takes upto 10 seconds to shoot a picture( after you hit the shoot button). By that time your subject has already moved and you will end up with shakey image/photo. - Poor video quality - Poor picture quality - No user manual provided with the packaging - Overall poorly made product. It stopped working yesterday.
Summary: I have a baby on the way and needed a camcorder/camera to capture lots of precious memories. I'm relatively tech-savvy and did a lot of research before settling on this Sanyo VPC-CG102. After using it for several weeks, including taping my baby shower, I have no regrets. It's everything I hoped it would be, and I am giddy about the photo and video quality. Granted this is my first HD camcorder, and my last digital camera was my cell phone...
Summary: Just some quick reactions - I read a lot of reviews of this product before buying. Basically I agree with all the positive comments. My only negative comment is that the video stabilization doesn't keep the shakiness out of videos, especially if I'm using much zoom. I may learn to make this better but given the product claims it was a little disappointing.
Summary: After having used the Camera for some time now. I can highlight some of the things that need work. The inner treading for the Tripod should have been metal, as it is a Pistol Grip Camera. If the threading strips you're screwed! I have a major problem with movable plastic parts. The Chromed highlights in the picture that look metal are really plastic. Part of which is what opens to reveal the SDHC card slot.
Summary: I bought the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG102 Dual Camera to use while I'm traveling out of state to look at animals. I want to be able to take still shots and movies and then review them back home. This unit is the right size and price for the job. I don't want to carry around even a small point and shoot. I'm a small person, and the Xacti easily fits in my pockets without any bulk.
Summary: Love this camera. It's duel so you can take excellent photos with 14 mp and also HD video. The photos are wonderful and I'm so glad I researched for months what kind to get. Now I'm able to take only one camera on vacation and be able to take photos and video!!!I just wish it had an attached lens cover. It has one but you have to attached to camera with a small cord they give you. Would be great if it was one that would close by itself.
