Summary: My main camera is my Canon 7D; my backup is the Canon T3i. But I needed a point & shoot that I could carry on me at all times. I had a Canon S100, which is a GREAT camera, but I wanted a Great camera that also had WIFI. The Samsung WB850F meets this criteria. The ONLY CON... which is the .5 star that I held back.. is that it has too much lag from startup to shoot the first picture.. and it takes too long to cycle the camera in between single shots.
Summary: This camera is what it says, A point and shoot with a bit extra. It takes pictures well but if you want to adjust the settings Like apature and shuttter speeds. Its more cumbersome than if it where a dslr (of Course) but you can do that if you want. The flash does not auto pop up. That is a mixed bag for me. Cause some times it would be nice for the camera to make the flash come out.
A lot of functions but image quality could be better

Summary: + easy to use + good video quality + great zoom + wi-if makes it very convenient to backup and share photos - picture quality could be better (especially indoors) - auto mode doesn't always choose the best mode for the light - battery life not great
Summary: When I received my camera I just couldn't be happier. Great options to play around, not too difficult to master and having a pocket camera with a 21x zoom I just couldn't ask for anything more... but...but... Every time you pick up the camera for a quick pic, the battery is dead. Oh... I left the gps on, was my first thought, but no! The camera eats the battery in less than 2 days when left in your carry on bag.
