Summary: I wanted a pocket camera because I know anything larger will get left at home. Important considerations in my camera search were image quality, macro shots, low light shots, and decent zoom capabilities. The WB800F exceeded my expectations on those points. I'm not much interested in the video, wifi connectivity, and various special effects.
Summary: Pros: Easy to transfers your pictures to you I-Phone and if you use I-cloud they will also be transferred to your I-Pad. Love the 21x zoom and image stabilization. Love the small size. I have a small cross shoulder pack that I use to carry a water bottle and other items and it has a cell phone pouch on the strap that crosses over my chest and the camera fits nicely in there. I carry it with me every time I go for a walk. Very easy to access.
Summary: Very nice camera, looks great, handles nicely, excellent picture quality and very versatile overall. I'm very pleased indeed overall with the camera, but I haven't been able to get to grips with the wifi so I give it 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5. If you want a small camera with a big zoom that's easy to use and gives superb picture quality, then this is well recommended; maybe you'll even have better joy with the wifi - must be something I'm not doing right.
Summary: I am very pleased with this model, and the zoom is excellent, especially useful for capturing the bird life in my garden, amongst its many other options. Could do with a bigger user manual, the print is very small, but no doubt I can download one from somewhere. Cant wait to go on holiday and try some shots etc.
Good quality camera, but perhaps a full touch screen system would have been better

Summary: This camera would appear to be very similar to the Samsung WB850F in terms of picture quality, zoom and general usability. In that regard, I have to say that I'm very impressed with all those aspects. When in full zoom (up to x42 using the digital zoom) there tends to be quite a bit of camera shake effect, therefore a stable surface or tripod is probably necessary.
Summary: Can a camera be all things to all people? The Samsung WB800F certainly tries. If you're looking for a point and shoot camera that does all the thinking for you the WB800F comes with an impressive auto mode and produces some great images even in tricky situations such as pictures with areas of bright sunlight and shade. Its lightweight, small enough to comfortably fit in your pocket and comes packed with features and a 21x optical zoom.
Summary: Lots of great features on this camera along with clear images in lowish light. A good little camera to put in your pocket and have on hand everywhere. My only disappointment was that you have to have the battery in the camera to charge it so you can't have it charging while you are using it with a second battery. Maybe there's an external charger available as an optional extra - will need to look. Overall am pleased with the purchase.
