Summary: Order a Samsung WB350F Smart Digital Camera + accessory kit as a mother's day gift. When it arrived in the mail, my mom opened the box to find a Samsung WB50, not what she wanted nor what I ordered. Had to run to best buy that night to get her the camera she wanted and what I originally ordered. Thankfully, amazon made the return process very easy and I got a refund.
Summary: The picture quality was very bad and there was not an auto rotate/ orientation sensor. I returned it after using it for a trip to Disney. Before the trip I read the manual, updated the firmware, and practiced with it. I took over 1000 pictures and there were only 1 or 2 that were crisp in their focus. The focus was usually a very narrow focus field no matter what mode I put it in and no matter what the lighting and in group pictures only 1 or 2 people would be in focus.
Summary: I wanted to try samsung for a camera and bought this cam at a local retail store. My first compact superzoom and first samsung camera. Very disappointed. It takes pictures like any other 50-100-dollar camera. No need to spend this much on this overpriced gimmickry if you only need zoom and don't care about image quality. Older WB models are cheaper and offer the same image quality and same crippled wifi+app functions.
Summary: I purchased this camera based on the function of uploading videos directly to YouTube. I want to take videos of my young children and store them online easily, and this camera promised a direct link to YouTube. Well it does technically upload directly to YouTube as they say - but the videos have to be: a) Less than 30 seconds clip b) Very very bad quality setting.
