Summary: The Samsung WB100 camera is fair in its functions and many features. However, over the 8 months I have used the Samsung, my disappoint comes from over 50% of the images come out blur or photos are under lite (dark). I end up miss getting good family, friends and macro shots accurately. I have read the Samsung users manual through 3 times, but I still find the Menu features are not 'user friendly' in identifying and selecting the right feature(s).
Summary: It was heavy with 4 AA batteries. Some of the pictures came out yellow from not enough light and was slow shutter speed. I did like the feel of holding it and the close ups were great. I returned it and bought the Samsung WB250 and I love it. Lighter and not so complicated to use.
Summary: I am not impressed with the zoom, indoor shots or action shots. Portraits and close-ups are fine, but that is all. I regret purchasing the camera and would not recommend it. I was MOST unhappy with the packaging of the item. The wrapping was only partially inflated - a very small portion - and it was not packed properly. The box was ripped, bent and crushed.
Summary: recieved this camera for christmas, have tried to get on with it but it is very slow to do anything! slow to focus on anything slow to take the photo and slow to let you take another, even with a good quality sd card in it and fresh batteries. if you want a camera to take lots of landscape shots where you can set up and nothing is going to move then it wiil take nice photos if you want to take pics of children, pets or anything fast moving get another camera i know i...
Summary: I do not like this item. I got this camera because it was cheap and I had hoped it would be a good camera, being 16 Megs and from Samsung, also relatively easy to use. Truth of the matter is, my old 8 meg Panasonic Lumix compact that is about 6 years old, can and still does take much better pictures than this 16 meg SLR camera. it can look like a really good shot on the viewing screen until you push the button to capture it, then it just blurs up!
