It's .....Ok

Calumcan, Amazon
11 August 2010
  • Summary: I bought the Samsung U10 last autumn with high expectations. However they did not meet mainly due to the low light. But excluding that, it's very good for it's worth.

Handy and compact but ultimately disappointing

Mr. P. Stamp, Amazon
29 December 2009
  • Summary: First the pros - the Samsung is fantastically compact and portable : so much so that I even forgot that I had it in my pocket. Despite other reviews complaining of its performance indoors I'd say its perfectly acceptable for a room with normal lighting and its only if the light is seriously low that it will struggle and in good light the picture quality is superb. The cons - like other reviewers, I have found the touch-sensitive control pad to be very impractical.

Well it looks nice...

D Deacon "pixist", Amazon
23 October 2009
  • Summary: The Samsung U10 looks very nice and is well presented - more stylish and smaller than the zi8. It has a banana bend in the middle to give a so-called natural angle to holding it. I think that's mere marketing. The slowish f3.0 lens has a fixed covering over it so it is protected - you can't remove this. The battery is fixed too inside the U10 and is not user-replaceable - no spares then to keep on shooting if you run out when out for the day. This is an issue for me.
