Summary: It was bought to replace a version of the same camera which was really good but which sadly was dropped and accidentally broken. Unfortunately this one is a dead loss with unacceptably grainy output. Unusable and very disappointing!
Summary: Had this camera for just under two years. Was happy with it until one day it stopped working. I turn it on and the lens comes out, it tried to focus, then beeps and shuts off. Online Samsung support has been no help in diagnosing the problem. Don't buy this camera.
Summary: Purchased a camera in December for an Christmas gift for a friend. Camera worked awesome for the first month. By Feb 1st the camera was already malfunctioning. Contacted the seller and they wouldnt do anything about it because they only accept returns for 30 days.
Summary: The first one I both, in the first day of use, felt down from less than 1 meter. It seemed to be ok but the shoot button locked. Things moved inside the camera. It was not possible to recover it.
Summary: Was fairly happy with the camera until the display failed 2 months out of warranty. Owned the camera for 14 months and it was not damaged or abused in any way. Samsung wants $50 to repair and I pay the shipping to them too (about $10). That is $60 for a $99 camera so repair is not an option.
Summary: This is a decent little camera for the money. It is very compact and travels well; for me this also means camera shake is an issue since it is so lightweight. The Digital Image Stabilization function can help mitigate this, but you have to enable it every time you turn the camera on.
Summary: I loved this camera until the charge/USB port cover broke after the 4th use. It simply will not stay shut. It was flimsy to begin with, so I was being very careful with it. In spite of this, it will not stay closed after 4 uses.
