Summary: When I can get this thing to work, the photos are often nice quality. However, there are way to many menus, sub menus and inscrutable icons for my liking. I find myself taking video when I'm trying to take stills, or searching in vain for the simple "auto" point and shoot option, which works well when I can find it. I also have intermittent problems with the memory, and getting the camera to communicate with my Windows 7 computer.
Summary: This is a great little camera. Not being anywhere near a pro I put this in my pocket and take photos everywhere. The pictures come out great and the battery lasts all day without recharging. I recommend it and I am buying two more as gifts for my children. No, I think I will buy four more. My grandkids love taking pictures too.
HUGE value for the dollar, easiest to use, very reliable, quality pix

Summary: I bought this camera to replace an older Canon Powershot for my wife. I already had a Samsung that I use quite often for eBay and other efforts. The camera works very well and reliably as have all the Samsung cameras I have owned and used for more than 10 years now. One very good point about these Samsung cameras is the plug and play ability of the cameras. You do not necessarily need any alternative software to retrieve pictures from this camera.
Seller gave accurate description, camera arrived in three days, shipping ok

Summary: The seller gave an accurate description of the camera. I haven't taking any pictures yet. What I like about the Samsung ST Series ST66 16.1 MP Digital Camera. It is lightweight and easy to use. I will be going on vacation in November. My wife and I will be taking allot of pictures. Thank You Mr.
Summary: Within 1 year the camera stopped taking a charge. That is where the troubles began. I called Samsung for warranty repair and went through all their prompts for digital cameras but got sent to the Blue-ray department every time. I then had to get transferred to the camera department. I called 5 times but every single time the Samsung operator hung up on me. Five times is no "accident". The fifth, and last, time I asked to speak with a manager. That made no difference.
Summary: Just what I was looking for. Keep it in my bag all the time and whip it out whenever I want. Only negative is opening for batteries and card is sometimes hard to open and close. But the pictures are great and that's what counts.
Summary: This camera is a great buy, but I ordered a black one and I got a red one... still, it's a good camera and the battery life is very good. It's easy to use, doesn't take up much room in your pocket, and takes very good photos. I looked up spare batteries on Amazon and found them relatively cheap. I suggest you get at least one backup battery if you are going on vacation.
