Summary: My original camera just like this one got wet so I ordered another to replace it. At first it was fine for taking pictures but I soon realises the key pay for wifi didn't work properly. Sorry I bought a used one. I still need a properly working camera. I'm sure the seller was aware of the problem. Just wish I'd tried the wifi sooner returned it. My bay for not checking all the features sooner.
Summary: It could be a function of my not having learned how to use the camera fully yet, but so far I've not had good luck with taking really good pictures. They tend to be either fuzzy and/or the colors are washed out. I got it primarily b/c of the wifi feature -- and that seems to work ok. Again, it could just be that I'm not far enough down the learning curve quite yet. Oh - and note that I'm fairly technical (wife always calls me a geek) - so it's not b/c I'm an idiot.
WARNING! NO space for pictures without separate SD card!
25 June 2012
Summary: Yes, I know most digital cameras come with very limited disk space; you're expected to buy a separate SD card if you want to take more than a handful of pictures. What I did not know is that this camera comes with NO space whatsoever. None. Zilch. Nada. Well, OK, it must have **something** in order to boot up and run I suppose. But there's not enough to take a picture, which is what matters.
Summary: OK, so considering it's price and that it has wi-fi built in I would say it's ok, but just to share and upload pictures. Now if you want quality pictures in this camera it's another story....not to mention that it creates the 720p lowest quality videos I've ever seen. Very bad in low light, seriuosly I'm saying all this because I had to resell the camera after 2 months of using it.........to take pictures go for Canon, Nikon or Pentax.

Summary: I bought this camera for my son to take to Lima, Peru on a swim trip.We had a just a few hours to decide before he had to fly off. It looked good and seemed to have decent features. He charged it up on the way to Lima, went to bed, and it was discharged by the next day. He had to keep it plugged in 80% of the time (not easy to do where he was). He missed hundreds of shots because of the poor battery life.
Summary: For some reason I chose to overlook all of the reviews that said their camera couldn't connect to wifi - unfortunately, I found this to be true as well. I tried using it in Chicago and even in my own home I couldn't connect to my open network and now I'm in Barcelona and am having no luck here either. I am returning the camera. Besides the wifi issues, it just doesn't take very good photos.
Summary: I bought this camera elsewhere, but in both cases, either the camera or the charger was bad. The first time when I tried to charge it, it just blinked orange and never charged. I took it back and it was replaced. The second time, it worked for a while, but about 2 months later the charger stopped working. The charger is also the USB cable so I wasn't able to get the pictures onto my computer either. I really love the camera, but this is way too frustrating.
good and the bad and the reason why it misses being as close to perfect for a Point and Shoot

Summary: OK I have a professional camera (canon rebel xs with the digic III proc) I also have a Canon sd890is and three models before in the same series the 890 I could take a photo of someone closing their eyes in a great shot and take them from another as the photo quality was that good and paste them into the other with Photoshop.
