Photos and videos can be streamed to the photographer’s HDTV using the Samsung AllShare feature, which uses DLNA technology. Releasing in March, the SH100 digital camera features a large, clear 3-inch LCD screen. It measures 93mm X 53.9mm X 18.9mm.
The Samsung SH100 digital camera comes with a plethora of interesting features for photographers. The camera comes with built-in Wi-Fi that allows the camera to connect to other devices wirelessly. By doing this, photographers will be able to backup their shots to a desktop PC, or the camera can be wirelessly connected to their HDTV. This Wi-Fi-enabled camera allows photographers to share their pictures over the internet and social networks. Using Wi-Fi, users can connect the camera to their Android-powered Galaxy S smartphone. The camera can be controlled from the phone as well. The location of the shot taken can be recorded from the phone’s GPS feature. There are two buttons (PC Auto Back-up function) on this camera that when pressed, the built-in Wi-Fi automatically back up the shots to the photographer’s PC. HD videos can be recorded and uploaded to YouTube using the camera’s provided software. Featuring a 5x optical zoom, the camera comes with the Smart Access UI that allows users to drag, click and control ‘app-style’ icons, easily flip through photos and control a range of the device’s features. There’s also the Samsung AllShare on this camera that uses the DLNA technology to allow photographers to connect to their HDTV and stream content wirelessly.
