Excerpt: I just wanted to say that even nine years after the release of this camera, it remains a totally relevant part of my gear list. The only camera I know of that allows the user to choose between the big, bright rear LCD, a top-notch (for the era) EVF and a waist-level electronic viewfinder, it's more...
Excerpt: Good image quality 50 - 100 ISO. Wery good lenses. Wery good macro quality, wireless self-timer for nature, people, and night shoot - when You use tripood. Both lcd + viewfinder its excellent. Best Regards to all owners from JB ;-) Problems: Nothing!
Summary: I am a licensed child photographer, so I knew exactly what I was looking for when I bought this camera. This camera is now my favorite to use. I like that I dont have to change lenses, which lets me focus on only one thing - the children.
Excerpt: I have had this camera for about 4 months. I have found it to be excellent in every way: built line a tank, a comprehensive set of features equal to most DSLRs + movie mode (including independent focus AND exposure locks, and excellent macro options, and RAW, not that I use it).
Summary: First, the (now discontinued) Samsung Pro 815 is an outstanding camera. It looks like an SLR, but with the video mode option and it's incorporation of a fixed telescopic/wide-angle "combo" lens, it appears to be impossible to be using an SLR system (although Samsung seems to claim it as such).
Excerpt: My first venture into a proper camera. This camera is fab!!! Easy to use - tons of features - great burst mode pics - amazing lens both wide and telephoto. LCD brilliant so clear high quality easy to view for several people. Battery life excellent and a bargain buy on ebay! Can't go wrong!
Summary: Haven't had the chance to use it alot since purchasing it. Still learning the MANY features the camera offers. Although, bulkier than most smaller digital cameras, it is easy to handle but the quality of the pictures and the capabilities of the camera more than make up for the size/weight. Love it.
Excerpt: This camera falls between two stools. It is too big and heavy to be versatile, and its features are not sufficiently adequate to make it, if you like, a digital medium format camera. Its sensor is too small for quality photographs, and its aperture range is limited.
Excerpt: I purchased this camera nearly a year ago now it being the third digital camera I've bought within two years after a ten year lay off from photography. I was previously working semi-professionally as a social photographer and actively involved in competition work so I feel I am reasonably qualified...
Excerpt: This 8 mega pixel camera contains a superb lens with a nice 15x optical zoom. Picture qualities are great. Performance-wise, super fast and nice response time. It is definately a great value for its price. I had a Fuji S7000 before this and I prefer this camera.
