Summary: I liked the camera, but sent it back and bought the nikon d5300. Did this because more lenses are available for the nikon. The samsung worked great, picture quality was very good and its size is nice.
I couldn't figure out if there was a way to sharpen it or if it was just like that. Samsung support was no help

Summary: Overall this is a really decent camera that can contend with the other DSLR's out there. One quick tip that has caused me a lot of grief- Out of the box the viewfinder was extremely blurry. I couldn't figure out if there was a way to sharpen it or if it was just like that. Samsung support was no help. One day I pulled the viewfinder out and noticed that the little wheel to sharpen the viewfinder focus was hiding on the side of the viewfinder.
Summary: I've had Canon, Sony, and Panasonic digital cameras recently, but never a Samsung. And while I like the quality offered by some of the fancy DSLR type cameras, I really hate carrying heavy things. So this seemed like a good compromise. Notable good points: -Fast, accurate focus -Easy to use -Nice feel and weight -Quiet operation (for its class) -Built in flash is nice -Viewfinder is excellent -Screen is also very bright and nice -Included lens is versatile and good...
Summary: The leading mirrorless right now without a doubt under $1k is the Sony A6000. I had the pleasure of trying it out for a short period of time and loved the quality of the images. Before that I had the NEX 6 which was, in my opinion, the best mirrorless before the A6000 came out. But they just didn't feel right. I ran into the NX 30 and just loved the feel of it. It felt like a tiny DSLR which is what I'm used to shooting with. That's what eventually won me over.
Summary: I am a constantly learning amateur photographer. I decided to take a long shot and replace my Nikon D3100 with the Samsung NX10. Same size censer. Lens prices were less. I ordered the NX11 and the only problem with it was I was unhappy with was the video had a jelly effect if you move around too fast. I have replaced the NX11 with the NX30 and I never would have guessed the NX30 takes even better pics than the NX11. The auto focus is much improved.
Nice Wifi Features, Maybe Not the Best Choice for Serious Photographers

Summary: This is a very nice entry into the world of mirrorless, interchangeable lens cameras. It sort of fits between a cheaper camera for the point-and-shoot crowd, and a camera intended for a really serious amateur or pro like the Fujifilm X-T1. As such there's a lot of features that most serious photography buffs wouldn't care about like the scene modes, and something Samsung calls "Lens Priority Mode" while it lacks some of the excellent handling and more dials that these...
Excerpt: Purchased this camera to use for travel and my child's college graduation ceremony. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the HD video I shot inside the auditorium where the graduation ceremony took place. Even though I know who to shoot in manual, I have used the "smart Camera" setting on the Main Dial and the pictures came out very well. Great job Samsung!
GREAT for photos, NEEDS HELP with external mic audio

Summary: I originally rated this 1 star because video recorded with an external mic plugged into the 3.5mm jack produces tons of hiss (camera has horrible preamps, which is common across all brands of DSLRs). I've since learned that connecting the camera to a solid preamplifier produces first class audio when recording video. (I now use Beachtek DXA-SLR Ultra with mic input level set at 2 on the camera and output level dial at the 2 o'clock position on the Beachtek).
Summary: This is a review in progress since I just received my camera yesterday. I currently own the NX210, NX300 and NX30. I have owned Nikon DSLR's as well but wanted to move to a more compact system so I decided to give Samsung mirrorless cameras a try. Each generation gets better than the last. While the sensor hasn't changed a lot in the last three cameras the fit and finish of these cameras gets better. Here are some things I like...
