Excellent compact camera.

ptted, Amazon

  • Summary: I love this camera. Bought it for several upcoming trips and have not been disappointed. Took it to Japan, Australia, and Western Caribbean. The pictures look great. Would have preferred that this camera came with the Samsung NX 16-50mm f/3.5 Power Zoom Camera Lens with OIS lens, but for the price I can't really complain. Do also wish that i could charge the camera via usb so I don't have to take so many cords with me.

A lot of camera for the money

Caleb Murdock, Amazon
14 January 2015
  • Summary: This camera has a defect which causes one out of about 20-30 photos to over-expose, but besides that, it is a very good camera. (Personally, I suspect that the camera has a "sticky shutter". I should add that, after using the camera for many months, the problem seems to be decreasing.) I would also say that the Automatic mode doesn't produce the sharpest images, so it helps if you like to shoot in one of the manual modes.

  • Excerpt: Had a big baregain on an nx1100 kit and now i'm here putting my thoughts on paper: [I think this can still be useful as i've seen many offer for this model at really low prices] BACKGROUND I have a sony a200 that lives with a 50mm on it (i have a decent set, kit lens and a minolta 70-210 f3.5-4.5 that i rarely use, i dont like to switch lenses). This one is used for my "serious" shooting.

Very good camera for its price

Yongbing Wan, Amazon
22 May 2014
  • Summary: The image quality can compete with those low end DSLRs, but with a lot less weight and money. The only complaint is that the focus is slow, especially for moving object. Maybe it's the problem for all mirror-less DSLR, since it uses contrast for focusing, instead of phase focusing.

Excellent for the price

Kristina Mosikyan, Amazon
21 May 2014
  • Summary: Pros: Three main advantages of this camera beside the reasonable price for the features you get are the true colors rendering, the ability to take pictures in low lighting conditions, and low time lag between the pictures (fps) Cons: The UV filter that I installed on the lens is virtually impossible to remove. That's the main reason I didn't give it a five star rating. Overall, I love this camera.

  • Summary: This camera, was alot better than I have hope for at this price. I could have paid a couple hundred more for this camera. Once you take the time and play a round with the camera, I found it easy to use. Now I am ready to buy me another len. I just love the pictures that I take can with this camera.

I got this to back up my DSLR

Turtlewoman, Amazon
20 April 2014
  • Summary: My photography mentor warned me that when I got this new mirror less camera that I would be tempted to use it all the time...and h4e was right . Why? It takes full size photos--like film cameras.- unlike the DSLR which only takes about 3/4s of the area you are shooting. It is very light and has a much smaller profile than my DSLR ( which I am also crazy about). The lens are super easy to change, and they are not cheap, but are a lot less then many DSLR primes.

Great

  • Summary: Great camera. Just need to get the 50-200mm lens to be able to take close-ups during sporting events and to have the OIS feature.

Love It

Elisa Rodriguez "elisa rodriguez", Amazon
14 April 2014
  • Summary: I love my camera, light but sturdy and it is so pretty. I do have two issues, I still have not been able to sinc with my smartphone (just searches and searches) and after 27 pictures, the battery was completely drained. I suggest a back up one is you have in an event that calls for a lot of picture taking.
