Summary: very sharp camera with 20 MP without viewfinder, but not so extremely sharp as nx 2000 good color rendition, high contrast, low noise until 3200 iso. if you'll use adapter, there is a switch for big external viewfinder viewing (strange brand), so that you'll preceive finest details.
Pros: adapter for many strange lenses available, with extern viewfinder like a DSLR
Cons: not so extremely sharp as nx 2000, but very sharp, nevertheless
Excerpt: because of the very sharp kit lens and the possibility to fit an adapter to this small cam, a very easy to use compact one. I use ist with an additional viewfinder for enlargement of LCD. one touch on the left side of program ring and the image details are claerly visible, enlarged additionally. when aperture is closed and using an adapter with strange lenses, the viewfinder remains bright. this is a very important feature for macro shootings with flash.

Summary: One of the primary reasons we bought this camera vs. competitors was the allegedly user friendly way in which you could transfer files wirelessly. Well, thus far, that's a joke - and I'm somewhat "techy". Here are the relevant options and how they don't work. a) "Social Sharing" - assuming you want to upload to Facebook, Youtube, etc., the videos are limited to 30 seconds at low definition, contrary to the manual and public information published by Samsung.

Summary: I've made some great 11X17 prints from its files but the camera is impossible to use in bright light. I bought an NX20 (looks like a dslr) for that purpose, keeping the NX1000 in car. The 20-50 is remarkably good, but I also bought a 30 and a 50-200. I mostly print my own, often in B&W...I think these cameras readily equal my Nikon-scanned chromes in most situations.
