Summary: I like the NV24HD my only compliant is the it features and abilities are difficult to learn and to remember. There's a lot to learn and a lot to read, I wish that it were more simple and easier to use in taking full advantage of its abilities.
Plenty of features in the Samsung NV24HD but can be tricky to use

Excerpt: "I bought this camera for my girlfriend who thinks user manuals are only to be used to keep the door open - so it needs to be easy to use. The key feature for me was the HD video recording which seems to work fairly well. For most people however this feature is not going to be enough to provoke a purchase. Like a lot of cameras this one can put put into 'auto' and left to sort itself out when taking a picture. I've found that this is not necessarily ...
Pros: Good results, plenty of features for most users . Generally works well .
Cons: Hard to take full advantage of the camera because of the menu system which I found hard to use .
Summary: Both models I purchased (the initial one and the one I exchanged it with) had blind pixels, not only in the OLED diplay but in the footage itself. The first one, one right in the middle of the screen, the second one two on the edges. While this is not so much an issue with still images, it is more than disastrous when filming in HD, which was the reason I got this cam in the first place.
Pros: Wide angle lens light-weight
Cons: Pixel-malfunctions in video mode Smart-Touch a little unconventional
