Ever play 'battleships'? Have you ever found somewhere on a map using grid references? If so, you can pretty much dispense with the manual for the 12.1 megapixel Samsung NV20… it's already hard-wired into your head. You see, flanking the 2.5” LCD at the rear of the camera are six 'row' buttons and seven 'column' buttons; between them, they handle every aspect of image manipulation possible on the camera. All that's left is the shooting mode button, the zoom thumb... Read more

Overall we weren't that impressed by the NV20, it might look good, but in use it's awkward, gimmicky and worse of all the images aren't great. Like the NV10 before its Nice looks don't cover up its failings, and it's a shame to see Samsung hasn't learnt from its mistakes first time around. Read more

The NV20 seems well built and is comfortable in the hand, especially for such a slim camera, but the Smart Touch controls can feel awkward to use. Image quality is vibrant but at the expense of blown highlights, while noise is a problem, even at the lowest sensitivity setting. Read more

I love the way this camera looks. I've had it for a few months now, and tellingly I've only used it a few times, preferring to use my old 7 mp Samsung instead. The problem I have is that I just can't figure out how to use the settings - admittedly I am a techno-moron - the icons seem to be counter-intuitive to me. It's frustrating to read all these glowing reviews, because the pictures I get from the AUTO setting just aren't right: there's too little light etc. On the... Read more

this camra is great and all but is lacking the upgrade lense feature that some people really look forward to, but because of that it stays a great slim size. it uses SDHC but most memory cards dont have that high of capacity so carry like two 4 gig cards and you can use it for days on end or as a camcorder. overall extreamly great camra for the price and features.
