Summary: Well, I own this Camera for almost 1 month now. The Samsung TL34HD is considered a great camera for the price. While it has its positives, but it does have its flaws. Such as the location of the flash, the design and the blurry pictures on some preset shooting mods. In general, if you can afford to get extra bucks, I would rather choosing another brand that has better reviews. However, the Samsung TL34HD is one of the top.
Summary: the usability of this camera is great. With touch screen, you can quickly and easily change settings without worrying about missing those great shots. The picture is outstanding and capable of very large formats. I'd say the biggest downer with this camera is that it's a bit fragile. Other than that, it's a great investment product.
Summary: I have never been a Samsung consumer. I always used Canon, Olympus, and Nikon. Recently Samsung has been doing one thing right, they are releasing more reliable and more feature packed items. You will notice in the front it has a 3.7x zoom lens that telescopes out of the body in two sections. In the front of the camera you will also notice it has a AF assist light, and the remote control sensor... My favorite feature is on the back of the camera.
Summary: I have only had the camera for a week but am very pleased with picture quality. We bought it as a camera the entire family can use and the auto feature is great for anyone who wants to shoot a picture. We bought it primarily for the video (pause) feature and we are very happy to have that in a small pocket camera.
Summary: I love the red accent against the silver body of this camera. There are so many features and editing options you can do yourself using the touchscreen. The touchsreen is extremely convenient so you don't have to press a lot of buttons to do what you want to you. You do have to constantly clean fingerprints. The large screen works fantastic when you have to take pics of a crowd or a wide scenery.
Summary: I bought this for my 73-year-old father who is somewhat technically proficient. It has a quick response time, which is great. He had a Nikon that was very slow - by the time the photo was snapped people had been posing for a long time and were moving or blinking. Hard to take good pictures of toddling grandkids; they don't stay put that long. This camera has more features than he probably needs or will make use of, but it works well and puts out a nice, crisp picture.
