Summary: Pros - picture quality, size, and price Cons - advance features like wi fi, social media uploading, and low light pictures eats your battery I bought this camera right before a 2 week trip to Italy. I played with it 2 days, did buy 2 extra batteries and a travel charger and off we went. Took 3,500 pictures with this little guy. 2500 were keepers and the rest were not the cameras fault. Used it at night, Used it during the day, in the rain, etc....it was a little trouper.
Summary: The LCD screen which flapped upto 180 degree is useful to take a selfportrait. F value is so nice that I could take photos in dark circumstance. This camera has good wifi system, so I can transfer my photos to my i-pad and PC without codes.
Summary: I purchased this camera for a trip at the last minute. While on the trip I found there were few things about it that annoyed me. It has a lot of nice features but they don't always work when they are suppose to, which was annoying while trying to capture moments on my trip. Overall I think this a is a good camera for an amateur...i.e. me! If I had not waited past the return date, I would have returned the camera and chosen one with more reliable features.
Summary: This camera is easy to use, I like the large touch screen, but it came with an empty slot for the micro SD card. I had to order a card and wait another 4 days before I could use any of the functions on the camera, they all use the memory card.
Summary: Overall, I am happy with my purchase of this camera. I had a Panasonic DC before and loved it, but it was missing two key features that I missed, and I found them in this Samsung camera: the flip-screen and capability to zoom while video recording. This is the only camera I found in the price range ($100-250) that has a compact size, flip screen and zoom while recording. It also has panorama feature which I didn't have on my old camera.
Summary: I was looking for a camera that had a flip screen (to record videos for YouTube) and something that was small. This fits the bill! The picture is clear and it uploads nicely. The screen does shut off when doing video (after a certain amount of time) and you have to touch it to see again (I'm assuming it's a feature to save on the battery) and I don't like that because I like to see what I'm videoing while I'm doing it.
Summary: I bought this camera before a cruise to Alaska knowing it was thin and compact, therefore easy to carry around in my purse. I especially wanted a 180-flip out screen so it would be easy to take pictures of myself and friends. I received it today and was very pleased. The pictures are great and the shutter speed is satisfactory.
Summary: I got this to complement my Canon 7D for moments when you don't feel like carrying around a big camera. Lots of settings and predefined photo-editing features right in the camera. the WiFi feature is difficult to set and extremely slow which makes it a feature you stay away from. Don't buy this one for the wifi function and you will be very happy with the results. Memory card is NOT included.
