The Samsung L73 combines a seven megapixel CCD imager and a Samsung NV-branded 3x optical zoom lens with a fairly standard 35 - 105mm equivalent focal range. For framing images, the L73 forgoes any form of optical viewfinder - increasingly rare on digicams these days - in favor of a large, high resolution 2.5" LCD display with 230,000 pixels. Read more

    - Smart Touch Interface - Sharp, clear LCD screen - Face recognition AF and AE Dislikes - No image stabilization - Fingers sometimes cover the flash - Auto Focus has difficulties in low light - Seemingly limited burst mode The Samsung L73 has an interesting selection of features, but there are a few missing that we would like to see at the price. There’s no proper image stabilization, and no manual control. Read more

Buying a pocket-sized digital camera hasn't entailed much compromise for a while now, as Samsung's L73 demonstrates. Despite its diminutive dimensions and sleek black design, the Samsung L73 sports a 7.4Mp (megapixel) 1/2.5in CCD (charge-coupled device) and 3x optical zoom. Read more

I'm sure not many people are interested in this anymore, but I felt that I oughta chime in with these reviews. I've had this camera for almost 4 years, since the end of '07, and I've had only good experiences with it. Of course, that might be because I'm not used to $1000 SLRs or anything...it's my first camera and I'm just now looking to upgrade from it. But anyway, it's a very solid little machine. Read more

Plastic body makes it look very cheap and light. Takes lot of Alkaline battery so I moved on to NiMH battery which gave me a better result lasted longer. Picture quality is okay. Night time pictures are not very good grainy. Close up picture with flash at night time is better. Read more

The Samsung L73 is a great camera either for the expert or for the beginner. The camera has a innovative design that I personally love about the Samsung Camera's. The camera's rechargable battery offers a long life and recharges fairly quick to offer minimum down time. Compared to AA or AAA batteries the rechargeable litium battery last longer on the average taking about 500 - 600 shots before draining completly. Read more

It is a good entry level camera for someone looking to take simple snapshots. If you are a little more picky about the quality of your pictures, then I would recommend a camera with a larger lens. Read more

    • Superb settings and interface, bright LCD screen, very light and portable. The touch pads on the back make it fun to use.
    • I am unhappy with the Quality of the pictures compared to my old 3.2 MP Fuji FinePics. For being more than twice the resolution, the picture is not that sharp even wit...

I use it in the hospital to capture pictures of my patients. Even intraoral views are feasible with the macro. Ok is not as good as my OM2n with macro and ringflash, but still amazing it can do. Read more
