Samsung L100

Samsung L100 is an 8.2 megapixel resolution digital camera with a 1/2.5 inch CCD. Among of its main features are 3x optical zoom lens, DIS (Digital Image Stabilization), face detection technology, red eye fix, ACB (Auto Contrast Balance), 2.5” Intelligent LCD, Movie Mode that include record, zoom, pause and edit, and self portrait mode.

Features

The L100 features multi-coating on both sides of all lenses that prevents chromatic aberration and distortion; DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) for digital image correction resulting from shaky hands; Face Detection function where the subject’s face is automatically detected, and brightness and focus are automatically adjusted for optimal shots. Moreover, when a subject is moving within a frame, it is automatically detected and tracked and Auto Exposure (AE) and Auto Focus (AF) are applied accordingly. Besides that, up to 9 subjects can be detected at a time to support image composition for portrait and multiple subject shots. Also, brightness is also automatically adjusted to prevent unnecessary battery consumption when pictures are taken in low light conditions and the LCD is clearly visible; ISO 1600 support that reduce possible noises in super speed sensitivity mode for clear images; video recordings with MJPEG VGA resolution for VGA resolution at 640x480, and 30/15 frames per second format with Audio or without Audio (user selectable) for a maximum of 2 hours recording. In terms of its specifications, it has a focal length of f = 6.2-18.6mm (35mm film equivalent : 37-111mm) with an aperture range of F2.8 (Wide)-F5.2 (Tele), 3.0 x digital zoom, 2.5" color TFT LCD (230,000 pixel) LCD camera, TTL auto focus with 80cm-infinity focus range (5cm-80cm (Wide)/50cm-80cm (Tele) on macro mode) and 1-1/1,500 sec.(Manual : 8-1/1,500 sec.) shutter speed. It has Program AE exposure with Multi, Spot, Center weighted, Face Detection metering, ±2EV (1/3 EV steps) compensation function and sensitivity up to ISO 1600. It has Auto, Auto & Red-eye reduction, Fill-in flash, Slow sync, Flash off, and Red-eye fix flash modes, with a range of 0.2m-4.7m (wide) and 0.5m-2.5m (ISO AUTO) (telephotos) and a recharging time of approximately 4.0 sec. Moreover, it also supports an internal storage capacity of 10MB and supports SD Card(up to 2GB guaranteed)/ MMC plus(up to 1GB guaranteed,4bit 20MHz)/ SDHC (up to 4GB guaranteed). The camera measures 87.7 x 56.3 x 20 mm and weighs 114g. The camera is available in Silver, Black, Pink, Blue, Red colors aluminum metal body.
