Samsung with HD recording

jonnychuck, Ebay
6 August 2009
  • Summary: I finally upgraded to this 10.2 megapixel camera. The main reason for getting it was the 1280 high def video recorder. I thought it was 60 fps, but the HD is at 30, which is better than the average 15 fps. It does shoot 60 fps at 320. You cant beat the 10x zoom, and this incredible lens. I rarely use the "auto" mode, and the "P" personal mode is ok for making adjustments.

Samsung HZ10W digital camera review

happyskinny1, Ebay
2 August 2009
  • Summary: This camera has been very good so far in the time that I have had it. It takes good to great pictures depending on the situation. It takes HD 720p video. The best part of it in my opinion is the zooming capabilities. It is a fairly compact camera, but it has a megazoom lens. It has a 10x optical zoom lens, and a 5x digital zoom. It really helps when you need to get those shots when you are at a distance.

highly recommendable for ladies

R. Hepworth "Roses & Books", Amazon
30 July 2011
  • Summary: I have been using this camera for over two years now and I just cannot seem to stop loving this camera. It is a little bit chunky in size compared to canon ixus or other slim ones, however, I think its built-in optical zoom works brilliantly compared to other small ones. I love to use all the different colour modes when I go out and the best one I love is vivid and forest mode. It makes a big difference in result when I used the forest mode when shooting landscapes.

Samsung WB500

oleonepace, Amazon
24 July 2011
  • Summary: A chunky, well built if not overly stylish camera which feels comfortable to use. Not a slimline item for tight pockets but not as obvious in use as a SLR. Plus features; easy to use in auto mode and not hard to work around the other mode options. Excellent optical zoom to x10. Good clear viewfinder with adequate menu. Doubles as a video cam with plenty of memory if using a memory card. Minus points? Poor images using digital zoom.

Very robust and feature rich

J. Yeow "darkspark88", Amazon

  • Summary: This camera has it all. HD video recording. Stereo sound recording. All metal body, including the tripod mount and battery cover + hinges. This really is a smart piece of kit. The camera was the size i expceted it to be, and the weight was fine. If anything the added weight gives it a feeling that it will survive a few knocks. The HD movies are astounding.

A Lovely Camera - Great Value For Money!

E. Stewart, Amazon
4 January 2010
  • Summary: Absolutley fantastic camera! I am quite a critic when it comes to cameras as I have had several within the last few years which have either died on me or have just not done the job. I was looking for something which was great at taking videos as well as photographs. This camera has the most amazing lens which provides the best wide angles going within a compact camera, its sound quality and zoom on the videos is also the best going with whats on offer at the moment.

GREAT TRAVEL CAMERA/CAMCORDER

D. Tripathi "nepali2001", Amazon
29 May 2009
  • Summary: Surprisingly good results considering the price. At ISO < 200 SLR like picture with sharp images, excellent colour rendition and superb dynamic range (ability to differentiate different shades of light). 24mm lens a real boon. Manual controls a bonus. At ISO over 400 picture loses resolution and colours not as good, but not too noisy. Flash gives very good results, but range limited at mid to max zoom. The 720p HD video with full range stereo sound is amazing.
