The HZ10W features an ultra-wide 24mm Schneider lens with 10x optical zoom. It also features a couple of manual controls such as adjusting the shutter speed, aperture, exposure, and focus. It has the optical and digital image stabilization which makes it able to capture video in 720p high-definition at 30 fps. It also comes with a H.264 compression which in turn allows the use of the Optical Image Stabilization and the 10x optical zoom at the time of capturing the video. This compact camera comes with a 10x megazoom wide-angle 24mm Schneider lens. This camera features 13 scene modes and photographers can select an aperture or shutter speed manually. It is said that the Samsung HZ10W has true mechanical image stabilization. There are also features like 720p MPEG-4 video, SD / MMC storage, power from a proprietary lithium-ion battery pack, and a choice of NTSC / PAL video plus USB connectivity. There’s a built-in microphone. Optical sensor is CDD. This digital camera is a 10.2 megapixels camera. Light sensitivity is at Auto ISO, ISO 80, ISO 100, ISO 200, ISO 400, ISO 800, ISO 1600, ISO 3200. LCD display size is 2.7 inch with a built-in flash and 10x optical zoom and with focal length measuring at 24 to 240mm (35mm equivalent). Storage type is Secure Digital Card and Secure Digital High Capacity. Internal memory capacity is 10MB. As for video options, capture resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels and videos can be captured at the speed of 30 fps. This camera can achieve a 720p HD video capture at 30fps using H.264. With the video mode, you can pause then resume filming which will avoid the saving of video files in small size. With the optical image stabilization, the lens can be extended and in that way, pictures taken are more appreciated. The Samsung HZ10W allows its settings to be manually set by its users as per the settings of its shutter speed, aperture, exposure and focus. Settings for colour, sharpness and contrast are said to be included as well.

In terms of price, lens, processing engine, photo quality, reliability, features, performance, customer service and support does the Samsung HZ25W/WB5000 provide better value for money compared to the highly popular Panasonic Lumix FZ35/FZ38 super zoom camera currently? What is the difference between the HZ25W and WB5000 models? We all know there are some differences between Panasonic FZ35 and FZ38 models especially the maximum HD recording time.
