Summary: I've had this camera for a few years and had no problems with it. I've taken some great pictures and love the cropping option- you can view a photo and crop it using your camera rather than having to acquire skills on the computer. The photos transfer easily to the computer and I really like it. I've dropped it more than once and its covered in scratches now but remained sturdy regardless!
Summary: I had a 7mpi Samsung which was over six years old. I wanted to upgrade but not go too over board with Pixles. I did read the reviews +/-. I had a birthday coming up so I was aware of the price too. My old memory cards and indeed batteries needed to be replaced as well. All in all it's a good purchase. the larger lcd screen makes things easier.I put a protective film on it straight away (Top tip)Even if you think it won't get stratched it just might!
Excerpt: "...the pink version of the Samsung ES15 camera for about £60 back in 2009 and it still holds its quality now. The look of it is quite average and it is a lot thicker than most digital cameras as it uses AA batteries but this is to your advantage! With most other cameras if you don't have your charger, you are a bit stuck, whereas with this one- anywhere in the world you can give your camera the power it needs! There is even a mode on the camera where ...
Pros: Face smoothing abilities, no spots !
Cons: Some modes take a while to process the photo once taken

Summary: BOUGHT THIS CAMERA FOR MY 9 YEAR OLDS BIRTHDAY AND HAVE HAD FOR 4 MONTHS NOW. HAVE FOUND IT TO BE REALLY GOOD AND EASY FOR HER TO USE. THE PICS SEEM TO COME OUT IN HIGH QUALITY AND VERY CLEAR COLOURS. SEEMS TO BE QUITE ROBUST CAMERA WAS DROPPED TWICE ON A HARD TILED FLOORING AND ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS THE BATTERIES FELL OUT. THIS CAMERA DOES HOWEVER RUN ON DOUBLE A'S AND SUCKS UP A LOT OF POWER, KEEP SPARE ONES TO HAND AND BEST ADVISE IS TO USE RECHARGEABLE ONES.
Summary: Not really sure why folks harp on about the batteries, just used up the ones which came with the camera...they kept going for 3wks...but i also purchased some uniross rechargables @ 2800ah...and a huge 16gb memory card...both have worked well...the camera works well, colours are good, video works well...downloading is easy...what more do you want from a mini digital camera...don't compare it to an SLR, its not the same. If you want a point and shot its fab..
