Summary: Colours don't appear quite perfectly as they should but better than a phone camera. ui is no problem. screen makes the colour issue look worse than it is and has poor viewing angles. product is fairly old now but it didn't put me off the brand.
Excerpt: In my opinion, this is a very appealing digital camera. Most digital cameras are fairly expensive if you’re the kind of people who wants to take pictures from nights out and not too fussed with exceptional quality. Don’t get me wrong, the quality on this camera is very good (8 mega pixels), but not as good as those which will cost you twice as much (unsurprisingly). It is also very strong and sturdy.
Excerpt: I bought the pink version of the Samsung ES15 camera for about £60 back in 2009 and it still holds its quality now. The look of it is quite average and it is a lot thicker than most digital cameras as it uses AA batteries but this is to your advantage! With most other cameras if you don't have your charger, you are a bit stuck, whereas with this one- anywhere in the world you can give your camera the power it needs!
Pros: Face smoothing abilities, no spots !
Cons: Some modes take a while to process the photo once taken
Excerpt: I love taking photos, especially on nights out with friends, and when my last camera died on me, I needed to find a sturdy, but reasonably priced new digital camera. I wanted a black camera, and I wanted Samsung, as this is a brand that I trust and own a good few Samsung products including my phone (at the time) and my laptop, and soon my new TV :D The Samsung ES15 is a 10.2 mega pixel camera with optical zoom, as well as facial detection technology.
Summary: I wanted an inexpensive camera, small enough to carry around but with enough 'spec' to take decent photos. I have found it a handily sized camera, which has taken some really decent photos. I am still finding my way around the menu & controls and I have found the battery/memory card compartment door a little flimsy but all in all a decent camera for the price.
Excerpt: Its a basic little camera which you'd expect for the price. Its smal enough to be able to carry it around with you without it being too cumbersom, yet at the same time its big enough for you not to loose and also still be able to see the screen and what your doing. Another down side is the fact that it takes AA batteries only, so you do go through them pretty quickly, which in effect bumps up the price.
Pros: Price, Cheap Cheerful Does what it says on the tin
Excerpt: Samsung is one of the leading electrical providers of all sorts of useful equiptment- from digital camera's to phones to laptops, Samsung is certainly making a name for itself. The Samsung ES15 is one of many Samsung digital camera models and is a nice little piece of photography making for those who aren't a wizz with technology. The Camera comes in three colours (black, silver and pink) and has approximately 10 mega pixels in the lens.
Pros: easy to use, small, compatable and given the right materials takes many great high - quality picture
Cons: only works properly with good, strong batteries - and need a memory card .
