Excerpt: My husband won the Samsung ES15 Digital Camera from a raffle at his work. At first it looks obsolete for me compared to the new digital cameras that is already in the market. But as days passed using this camera , I appreciate and loved its simplicity. It has 10.2 megapixel and very lightweight. What I like about the battery is that you can use two AA batteries. You can choose the battery type, either alkaline or Ni Mh (rechargeable batteries).
Summary: the camra takes very poor pictures. I hate this product and it took to long to get it in I will not buy from this person or comp. again. I hate that this is a bad report but I got a bad product and service.
Excerpt: "In my opinion, this is a very appealing digital camera. Most digital cameras are fairly expensive if you’re the kind of people who wants to take pictures from nights out and not too fussed with exceptional quality. Don’t get me wrong, the quality on this camera is very good (8 mega pixels), but not as good as those which will cost you twice as much (unsurprisingly). It is also very strong and sturdy. I dropped it in the club at least 5 times, and ...
Excerpt: The Samsung ES15 is a compact budget camera, which takes AA batteries and stores pictures on a standard SD card. It is also easy to use and has been my preferred camera for some time. The AA batteries rather an integral battery is extremely useful at conventions or displays, where recharging lithium cells is impractical, but replacement batteries are easy to purchase. Physically, it is small enough to fit easily in a bag or a pocket, and reasonably robust.
Summary: I had a 7mpi Samsung which was over six years old. I wanted to upgrade but not go too over board with Pixles. I did read the reviews +/-. I had a birthday coming up so I was aware of the price too. My old memory cards and indeed batteries needed to be replaced as well. All in all it's a good purchase. the larger lcd screen makes things easier.I put a protective film on it straight away (Top tip)Even if you think it won't get stratched it just might!
Excerpt: "...the pink version of the Samsung ES15 camera for about £60 back in 2009 and it still holds its quality now. The look of it is quite average and it is a lot thicker than most digital cameras as it uses AA batteries but this is to your advantage! With most other cameras if you don't have your charger, you are a bit stuck, whereas with this one- anywhere in the world you can give your camera the power it needs! There is even a mode on the camera where ...
Pros: Face smoothing abilities, no spots !
Cons: Some modes take a while to process the photo once taken
