About.com

Samsung DV300F

CNET
13 August 2012
  • Summary: If you want to enjoy taking pictures, the Samsung DV300F will help out enormously. The built-in creative filters are well implemented, innovative, and rather than being a set of obscure add-ons, they're something you'll actually want to use. It's also very small and the front-mounted screen is useful.
  • Cons: Slight chromatic aberration and pin-cushion distortion; Some surprising aperture choices.

Samsung DV300F

PC Magazine
2 August 2012
  • Conclusion: Samsung's inexpensive DV300F gives you a neat front LCD for self portraits, a sharp lens, and an excellent Wi-Fi experience. But this compact camera is downright sluggish.
  • Pros: Inexpensive. Sharp lens. Front-facing LCD for self portraits. Excellent Wi-Fi integration. Many in-camera effects.
  • Cons: Waxy images at middling ISO settings. Sluggish performance. Short zoom range. HD video capture limited to 720p. No HDMI output.

Samsung DV300F

PhotographyBLOG
22 May 2012
  • Excerpt: The Samsung DV300F is shorter than the height of a business card, with official 95.2 x 56.5 x 18.3 proportions and a mere 120g weight. Sitting well in the palm, this is a compact that truly is compact. No one will feel discomfort slipping the DV300F into a trouser pocket, and in fact it’s almost too easy to forget it's there. We had the black matt model in for review, which has a totally smooth brushed metal faceplate and a more textured faux-leather rear.

Samsung DV300F review

Stuff.tv
17 May 2012
  • Summary: We've seen Samsung compact cameras packing Wi-Fi skills before – like the capable WB150F. With the 16.1MP DV300F, you can now instantly back-up and share your shots without rummaging around for too many extra pennies over the price of your average point-and-shoot. If that doesn't convince the enthusiastic amateur, the second LCD display on the front might.

Test: Samsung DV300F (Digitalkamera)

CHIP Online
11 March 2013
