Excerpt: We've had this Digital camera for years. I think about 4 years now and although we don't use cameras all that much, it still has had a decent use. We got this out of Argos and think we paid about £120 for it. It had some money off, and although there was lots of Digital Cameras out then, they weren't as cheap as what they are now. We chose this one as it was an ok price for the brand name and the features seemed good on it. It is a very easy Camera to use.
Excerpt: We've enjoyed our first attempts at digital photography and the digimax is very simple to set up and use quickly. I'm sure there are lots of additional features we've yet to explore but the beauty is that you don't need to for everyday shots. Our only gripe is that it seems to eat up batteries. Other than the pure lithium camera batteries (expensive!), everything else lasts little more than a few hours. Duracell, rechargeables all the same.
Pros: Ease of use & range of functions
Cons: Poor battery life on anything but proper Lithium camera battery
Excerpt: A very good camera, uses a WIDE range of battery sources, unlike many others. My only gripe is that the auto-focus tends to be a bit fuzzy when shot at low-light, but that can easily be compensated by overriding the auto-focus, which makes up for it. I like a particular camera that will give you auto settings, semi-auto settings and above all, manual settings.
Pros: Easy to use, clear menus, good all - rounder
Excerpt: Since i have had mine i found that i was driving my family crazy with me taking photos all of the time. I mean it is so user friendly that my son of 4 years old can use it. But don't think for 1 min that if a child of 4 years old can use it it must be rubbish or i can't take good photos because let me tell you its far from rubbish and it is brill for the quality of photo that it takes.
Excerpt: The Samsung Digimax V4 is a good looking palm-sized four-megapixel digital camera. It incorporates the well acclaimed Schneider 3x optical zoom lens for clear and natural looking pictures. It can produce high resolution tiff images as well as jpg and other image formats. It can also produce motion video with audio at 288 x 208 pixels, (limited only by the amount of available memory). Pictures can be resized or trimmed (cropped) in-camera without need of a PC.
Pros: Quality images with many features which can be associated with more expensive digital cameras .
Excerpt: This camera has something to offer most people. It has several modes of operation which will help the novice yet still leave the "expert" scope to be creative. The modes are accessed through a dial which has click stop positioning The modes are:- Easy, Program, A/S/M, Video, Sound, myset, night mode.
Pros: Excellent quality offers something for all levels of expertise
Cons: memory card fits in same chamber as battery (niggle)
Excerpt: I bought this camera purely for the value for money. The very helpful man from Jessops demonstrated numorous cameras in my price range but the Pixels per pound and Zoom range were far superior to the Canon, Sony and Kodak camera for the same price. Infact for similar features some manufacturers where charging upto £100 more!!!!!!!!!! Its a great format to use and I can click like a madman all day then delete the naff pictures and start all over again.
Excerpt: We wanted a family 35mm-replacement that would enable us to take tons of pictures cheaply and easily, with good quality results. We also considered the Fuji S304 and the Canon A70 but I found the Fuji too bulky to hold comfortably. We settled on the Samsung as it had the best build and features for the price and bought online at Sussex Cameras for £310 including a 128mb memory card.
Excerpt: I bought this camera after reading about it in a computer magazine and I am so glad that I did! I am so thrilled with the QUALITY of the pictures and the ease of use. Although I have always loved photographs I have never been much of a photographer. Now, with this camera I have really produced some wonderful pictures both of my family and of all sorts of events.
Pros: Exellent pictures, lots of features, easy to use .
Cons: Menu is a bit fiddly untill you get used to it .
