Summary: I got this camera to be my "work camera" taking snapshots at client sites, capturing whiteboards and flipcharts, and that sort of thing. It's been an excellent choice.
Pros: Very compact, but takes excellent pictures. The "automatic shake reduction" is a big help for handheld in low light, or just when I'm tired. I'm using an 8-gig card, have 4 movies, a bunch of MP3s, and room for 1000 photos. I LOVE the fact that there's no protruding lens. Fits easily in a shirt p...
Cons: The LCD is very difficult to see in bright daylight. The video mode sometimes doesn't focus well when zoomed in. The headphone jack is 2.5mm instead of the more common 3.5mm. Requires a special cable (included, but something extra to carry) to connect to USB for downloading or charging. There's c...
Summary: This is the WORST PRODUCT with the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I only gave it one star because I had to, but it does not deserve ANY!!!!! I bought this camera last November and have yet to have a camera that works.
Summary: I've been a Samsung Camera lover for a long time. I began with the Digimax S500, then upgraded to Samsung NV3, and now I recently purchased the Samsung i85. I've tried other cameras like the Sony Cybershot DSC S730, but returned it instantly at poor picture quality and lack of image stabilization...
Summary: I had done some research on various brands (ie, Sony, Canon, Nikon, etc). I used resource such as CNET and other review websites to include reviews from product owners that purchased various on-line stores.
Summary: I've been using this camera for past 2 weeks.
I'm pretty much satisfied with its performance. It gives blurred images sometimes but otherwise its pretty decent.
Its build in media playing capability is really cool.
Summary: This a great Camera, with great image quality and amazingly fast zoom!
The video quality has also quiet improved over the NV3 that I have.
The reason that I didn't give a 5 star to this camera are the following:
1) A small delay in start up
2) Relatevly low battery life.
Excerpt: This was my first digital camera, and as much as I am interested in photography, my technological knowledge is very limited! So speaking from a novice's point of view, so far I have thought this is an excellent camera!
Pros: fairly simple to use, takes very clear good quality images
Summary: I bought this when it was on special offer at £99 app. So glad I did, it has everything you could need from a camera, mp3 player and video camera. It is capable of taking 2 or 4 mb cards as well as the built in memory. A 2mb card gives you 1 hour of video, more than enough for most events.
