Excerpt: This is a fantastically cheap digital camera which features far out-weighing its cost. But there are a number of quirks which you can live with given the cost. It has a very fine quality setting which is as good as any but restricts the number of photos you take from 60 to just over 20. The movie clip is more a gimmick than useful. Because of the memory available there is a massive restriction of the length of video you can record on this camera.
Excerpt: This camera is not the best on the market, by a long shot, however for the price you can get it for nowadays, it can be a very useful purchase, although out of date, the zoom on it can be very effect, although if you are a person who is planning to go into the photography world, this is definately not the camera for you, its red eye removal can be useful, the other features of this camera are quick and easy to use.
Pros: fairly cheap, ok for family occasions etc, short battery life
Summary: . Had this camera just over 1 year. Pros - Its easy to use and takes pretty good pics in daylight. Cons - As has been previously you can forget taking photos from further than a metre or 2 in low light as the picture will be out of focus, dark & grainy. The batteries that came with the camera did drain in a scarily fast time but Nimh rechargable batteries do the trick fine & a charged pair of 2400mAH usually do me for a day out (although I normally carry a spare pair...
Excerpt: this camera is ok and it is very small and light weight and the photo quality is very good and the software that comes with the camera eg the photo impressions disk is really good and has lots of really cool stuff on it that you can do with your pictures when youve uploaded them to you pc for example turn them in to greetings cards and postcards .the only problem with this camera is that the battery life is very poor the batterys i put in it only lasted half and hour...
Summary: Have to agree about the non-rechargeable battery life being pretty bad, but I've seen worse! Rechargeables are really essential for most digital cameras anyway. Picture quality really quite good and the macro function makes for good low-light results, but only if you have steady hands or a tripod. Mind you, that would apply for most cameras anyway.
