Excerpt: I bought this "Dora the explorer" camera for my daughter and it only lasted 2 hours before it died. I didn't expect much out of this camera due to its low price, but I expected it to last longer than 2 hours. If you looking for a decent camera for a child, spend couples of extra bucks and look elsewhere. Two thumbs up to B&H for taking back this shoddy product and giving me a full refund.
Cons: Poor Construction, Poor Image Quality, Poor Value
Excerpt: What I received didn't "talk" like it is described, there is not flash and they can not see the picture as it is taken so my 3 yo just went click, click, click and was immediately disinterested. I shouldn't have assumed but did assume that any digital camera would allow you to see the picture you took. I've returned it (B&H has been great!) and will order an inexpensive regular camera for her.
Excerpt: Bought this camera for my 3 year old. Unfortunately it arrived in a semi-functioning state. [...] This camera was recommended by a friend with a daughter the same age and she loves it.After a couple of false starts, I decided to get her an inexpensive digital camera instead of a toy and I am glad I did. She loves to use my camera and I would much rather not have the inevitable accident happen with a much more expensive camera.
Excerpt: While I would recommend this item because my 3 year old grand-daughter swears by it, I must say that I was disappointed at the level of difficulty to open the camera in order to add the batteries to it. It took a specially small screw-driver and was just a nag to get up and running! But, the 3 year old is a happy camper now, and therefore so are we.
