Excerpt: Great to have for family outings and with a 5 year old. We can let the kiddo snap pictures without worrying about damage and can take it anywhere without worrying about it getting wet, etc. We haven't dropped it yer (fingers crossed) but it seems very sturdy. It would, however, be nice if it came with a lens cover/some kind of protection.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Battery Life, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD

Summary: Very Impressed. I'm a GIS major and I'm using the camera for tagging locations. The .kml files seem to be pretty accurate that you get with the pictures. The microscope mode is awesome for taking pictures of insects in my freshwater ecology class. This brand makes an advanced GPS camera "G700SE" that is about 800$ and has a very great feature that prints the coordinates on the bottom of every picture.

Summary: Camera arrive quickly and everything works as advertised. Picture quality is OK, definitely color noise at ISO 1600 so I wouldn't shoot any higher if at all possible. I found a bluish cast in medium natural light that could be fixed by switching white balance from auto to shade, but that's not too surprising as most AWB is not good and either daylight or shade is recommended for 90% of shooting situations.
Excerpt: Main value is in the ruggedness and water proof qualities. The F.2 is also major reason purchased so that missed action shots are minimized. The ON/OFF button is not responsive to feel or lacks feed back to know the camera has been turned on without having to look. Not a good gloves on design. The selection of settings of Pixels and Quality stars etc are not intuitively obvious...saving settings particularly.
Summary: It's hard to beat the iPhone... Cons: A bit bulky for a carry everywhere camera, but it did survive a few falls from theme park lockers and a week of rain Night photography not recommended. Action photography not recommended - focus is not consistant with telephoto zoom Back screen is not accurate indication of final image In-camera image processing great Pro: large pixel count jpegs can be corrected in Adobe lightroom with impressive results
Excerpt: Best camera I have ever owned for macro shots! I had a Fuji X10 but the versatility of the WG-4 lens in macro mode beats it. I had also an older Lumix DMC-LZ5 that does very well at 1080x1920, but again the lens is not as versatile and the image quality is not as good. With the WG-4 I am able to use the JPGs right out of the camera at 1080x1920 resolution, same as I could with the Lumix, but the image quality out of the WG-4 is significantly better.
