Summary: Takes great pictures. Took it snorkeling in the ocean twice with no problems. I do recommend using a float wristband since my wife dropped it while swimming and it would have been lost without the float.
Summary: I have owned several Canon cameras over the years, going back to the days before digital photography. I was always pleased with the quality of their equipment and the photographs they produced. When I needed a camera to use while snorkeling, I first bought a Sony TX-10, which takes a nice picture, but is not as durable as I had hoped it would be. My current choices came down to the newest models by Olympus and Ricoh. I am very pleased with this WG-20.
Summary: This rugged little camera takes great shots on land. I was skeptical about the underwater durability but it seems great so far. The pictures are typical of basic underwater shots without additional lighting. It was purchased for a vacation to the Caribbean to reduce luggage weight (instead of lugging my Canon T3i and lenses)and to avoid the expense of one-use underwater film cameras.
Summary: I was pleased with the quality of the pictures taken above the water. It took great pictures in the pool. I still have not used all of the functions of the camera, as I received it right before our vacation. It is a great little camera to take to the beach, pool or where ever you go.
Summary: So far so good....no complaints as of yet bought this camera for water park use and so far it has performed well pics are as good as expected for a camera of this price range ive had this camera on roller coasters wave pools and water slides and no leaks and the pics i have gotten are priceless highly recommend if your looking for a cheap pool worthy camera priced at target 129.99
Summary: Bought the first 'shockproof' WG-20 camera and any slight tap would shut it down,, returned it for another and this 'waterproof' WG-20 camera and it lets in moisture, fogs the lens & screen and screws up the processor. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A REAL CAMERA!

Summary: Awesome little camera for the money! This camera is easy enough for my 6 y/o to shoot underwater, while having many features of my DSLR camera. Nice automatic light balance above and under water. Pictures came out clean with sharp detail for images both wet and dry. 14 megapixels is plenty for a rugged outdoors parent or adventure kid. Nifty fast shoot feature and smile recognition.
