Excerpt: Ricoh GR is excellent camera for demanding users. Outstanding IQ, fast response, solid construction is what I like most. Inconspicuous look and 18mm focal lenght are ideal for me - I`m photoessay photographer. One wish: battery life could be longer.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Small / Compact
Excerpt: This camera has changed my life I only wish I bought it sooner! The picture quality is so clear and crisp the photos look professionally taken with little experience needed! Doing a lot of travel it really is worth having a good camera -the expense you take to travel it is more than worth having excellent quality pictures to match. You only realize how poor other camera qualities are after you see the difference with this camera!
Excerpt: Street photography, an amazing 28mm lens, with great depth of field f9 at 3 meters to infinity all in focus. The "snap focus" (pre-focus at specific distance), in combination with the depth of field, ensures that everything is tack-sharp, to capture 1/1000th decisive moments on the street without an lag.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I love this camera! It's lightweight, compact, has decent presets and performs reasonably well in low light. This is my first "real" camera, so I'm still learning all the extensive features. I primarily bought this to take on bike rides... it is the perfect jersey pocket-sized camera. I've found it fast enough to snap pics while on the move, both of moving and stationary objects. The rubberized grip gives me the confidence to pull it out on the fly.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I was considering a Nikon Coolpix A or a Fuji x100S but in process discovered the GR. It has the same size sensor and is much lighter than the other two. Ergonomically it is perfect in terms of controls and settings. Pictures are super and WB controls work great. Best value and professional always count on B & H.
Pros: Ergonomics, Good in Low Light, Quality Pictures, Size, Small / Compact
Excerpt: Finally, two decades into the digital transformation of consumer photography, we have a point-and-shoot that produces images of technical quality comparable to those from a "pro" (D)SLR. The original Ricoh GR-1 could produce slides that vied with those from any of the then current SLRs equipped with their bulky 28mm lenses, and this digital camera is as good or better than any APS-C DSLR with a lens of this (equivalent) focal length.
Pros: Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Small / Compact
Cons: No Viewfinder, Poor Image Stabilization, Tripod Hole Poorly Placed
Excerpt: The cameras larger sensor, f/2.8 lens and computer make a fast little camera to capture my toddler. I was constantly deleting blurry images on my DSLR and my other Point & Shoot. Not with Ricoh GR. The camera's auto focus is so quick I am rarely left with a bad picture. The camera has so many manual features too. It can keep your dslr enthusiast happy with so many options. Built in filters and long exposure programing keep my deeply technical side happy too.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
