Ricoh CX2 Digital Camera Review

Buy-n-Shoot.com
31 October 2009
  • Conclusion: In saying that, the solid performance of the CX1 has certainly been continued and users can be assured that this line of compacts will perform well overall, especially given some initial practice and familiarisation time.

A small Ricoh digital camera with a big zoom

Good Gear Guide.au
3 March 2010
  • Summary: Despite some issues with noise, the Ricoh CX2 is an admirable compact camera. It has a huge 300mm lens, captures vibrant and sharp images, has useful scene modes, and is reasonably priced. Put it on your shopping list if you want a point-and-shoot camera with a versatile lens.
  • Pros: 28-300mm zoom lens, useful dynamic range mode, high-contrast black-and-white filter, fast burst mode
  • Cons: Noise is present in images, not useful for low-light photography, some lens distortion

Ricoh CX2 Digital Camera Review

Buy-n-Shoot.com
26 September 2009
  • Excerpt: The Ricoh CX2 is not the slimmest compact camera on the market, nor would it be the most lightweight (at 185g) but it does have some compelling design features and capabilities in its favour. As successor to the CX1, the CX2 offers the same classy stylings and for the most part, the same, if not somewhat improved or extended feature set. Afterall, it was less than six months...

Ricoh CX2

PhotoReview
1 September 2009
  • Summary: Ricoh's second CMOS-sensor digicam extends the zoom range of the previous model to 10.7 times.Ricoh's second CMOS-equipped digicam, the CX2, comes hard on the heels of the CX1, which we reviewed in March. It has the same 6.16 x 4.62 mm CMOS sensor with 9.3-megapixel (effective) resolution but boasts a new lens that provides 10.7x optical zoom and wide-angle coverage in a camera body that is only 29.4 mm thick. . .
  • Pros: You want an ultra-compact long-zoom camera for snapshot photography., You could benefit from the dynamic range expansion function and can tolerate its restrictions., You're happy to use the monitor for shot composition., You want manual flash adjustment plus a good range of flash settings for a slimline digicam.
  • Cons: You require P, A, S and M shooting modes., You want to shoot raw files., You want to shoot widescreen or high-definition video.

Expert Review

Tecnozoom
17 December 2009
  • Pros: ZOOM OTTICO; Risoluzione display; Motore; Stabilizzatore

CX2

Das Digitalkamera-Magazin
16 November 2009
