Summary: Seems a good product, does not have folding down eye pieces as described but this no problem for me , case is a bit of a tight fit for folded binoculars but not a big problem. Lens and focus system both seem good. Overall good product bearing in mind the cost .
Excerpt: I worked in a well known camera shop for over six months, and these used to be our best selling camera's and I'll tell you what I have got no idea why. I bought myself one and as soon as I started using it on a regular basis, and not just demonstrating to customers.
Excerpt: 1 / Poor picture quality even in bright sunlight ,Just about OK . 2 / In well lit rooms picture extremely dark and grainy. 3 / Impossible to see subjects on screen even in not to dark locations therefore have to guess where people are to take picture in flash mode.
Summary: I brought this 5 megapixel camera at a rather low price, and was suprised at how much it could actually do. Its perfect for an student or nature lover due to its small size, as it can easily slip in your pocket while your out and about. Its an attractive product and very simple to use.
Excerpt: as someone who isnt really into cameras i just wanted a fairly cheap & basic machine. the praktica dc5 slim certainly fits the bill on both counts but i still cant help but feel a little disappointed with its overall performance.
Excerpt: I bought this camera thinking that all digital cameras with a 5 mega pixel image sensor would produce pretty much the same quality pictures. Turns out I was wrong. I was really disapointed when I first started to use the camera and could only find instructions for a limited number of operations...
Pros: slim, lightweight and stylish design
Cons: Poor picture quality, clarity of instructions
