Excerpt: This is a great little starter camera. I got a great price on it through overstock/mypoints but would have been willing to pay more for it. The images are very clear and the video has good audio with it. I also like the fact that you can hook it up directly to the tv to view the pictures. The only drawback I can see it that it does not have a viewfinder which makes taking a picture in full sunlight a little hard to do. I also wish the optical zoom was a litte more.
The best lightweight, compact and easy to use digital camera!

Excerpt: I am very pleased with my Polaroid i834 digital camera! It's a whopping 8.0 megapixels. The pictures it takes are excellent and I am even able to record videos with it! The reason we bought this camera was because our old one just wasn't up to par anymore. It was slow, started to take blurry pictures and was a little bigger and bulky than I preferred.
Excerpt: This is my 2nd replacement camera from polariod. The brand isnt reliable. My other digital camera works much better. The only thing i like about this camera is the touch screen and the rechargeable battery but there are other cameras with these features.
Excerpt: Had a Polariod i830. Would not power on, so Polariod (after 4 months of discussion and paying shipping) finally replaced with i834 upgrade...lol. This camera will only take photos in night mode but since warranty is covered from orignal purchase of i830 (lost 4 months during "discussion', now out of warranty even though only few months old.
Summary: I love love love this camera. It's my first digital camera and I bought it used on Ebay so it came without a manual. This hasn't been a problem; I've been using the features and taking great pictures with ease. The only suggestion I have is to make sure and buy rechargeable batteries! The camera eats them up and if they are low the pictures don't come out nearly as good as when the batteries are full/new.
Summary: I bought this for my partners birthday and she absolutely loves the camera. It takes nice clear images with beautiful color and is easy for her to operate and switch to movie mode. She took a 20 minute movie at Sea World the other day and the movie was very clear.
Summary: Camera has a lot of features, and learning to use them may be the biggest downfall. I've been using an older Kodak model for years and it just may be because the Polaroid is different that I'm not learning everything really quickly, but it's easy enough to start snapping nice pics right away.
