Polaroid cameras are good for people on a tight budget

Excerpt: I came across my digital camera a couple years ago. It was given to me as a christmas gift. My parents wanted to get me something nice for the holidays but they had been on a tight budget for a long time and couldn't afford to spend a major amount of money on any item. They bought me the Polaroid i633 6.0 Mega Pixels, 3x super zoom digital camera in black. It has lots of great features and I was thoroughly satisfied with it.
Excerpt: When i bought my Digital Camera Polaroid 633i, i found it cute, it had nice color and it is very comfortable to hold. Handy and easy to use, even my children knows how to use it, there is no complications, easy to zoom it, easy to record videos, easy to take pictures and the definition of pictures taken are very neat, honestly i could to speak out about this camera and model to my friends, families, coworkers and everyone who one way or other could be influence by the...
Excerpt: I bought the Polaroid i633 as part of an $85 kit sold by Overstock.com that included a tripod, battery recharger and rechargable batteries, carrying case, 1 GB memory card, a screen protector multipack, AV cable, neck strap and cleaning cloth and fluid. I haven't used all of the extras yet, but the tripod and recharger/ rechargable batteries are really practical and have come in handy.
Excerpt: I have had my Polaroid i633 6MP camera for almost a year. I love the bright pink color but the color is not for every one. It is small and fits great in my small hands. It does not have a big internal memory, like many cameras. Do make sure to buy a good size memory card. I love that the card and batteries both go in the same area, making it easier by just opening one part. Yes this does regular batteries so keep that in mind, some prefer that like me, for convenience.
Summary: Pros: uses standard SD cards uses standard AA batteries It is very silent 30fps video with sound and digital zoom while recording Cons: Bad image quality, Horrible image quality at low light conditions Only one video mode (320x240, 30fps) Slow startup Slow focus Slow shooting I have been frustrated with that camera. I expected that a traditional camera maker like Polaroid would make a great digital camera, but I was wrong.

Summary: The lens has to be opened with the top of my finger nail & the screen was all scratched up & no owners instruction manual came with it & I can't find one on line. Very unhappy with my purchase.
Summary: I purchased this camera for my 9yo daughter. She had previously owned a similar Polaroid that is no longer made. I didn't realize that the casing to this camera is plastic. That might have affected my decision. All in all a good camera, especially for the price. The pink color is a bonus for my daughter.
