Summary: This Polaroid digial camera has a couple of extras: games and video recorder, unfortunately, it only worked one day. The look, feel, and ease of use made the camea a hit. If any of the features still worked, it would be a perfect gift for any child +3 to 7 years old. I hadn't expected the video games. I intend to contact Polaroid for a replacement because my granddaughter really loves it.
Summary: My niece (4 years old) got one of these for Christmas last year and my son (age 2) loved it, then hers broke after about 7 months and they were both sad so I decided to buy them 2 new ones. I got my son a blue one and my niece a pink one. They had a great deal of fun playing the video games and taking pictures of my grandmother for about a month, then my son's broke.
Summary: My 6 year old son really loved this camera, it was really easy to use and (although I found them annoying and battery sucking), he liked the games.I really thought it was a good camera at first. Of course the pictures were of low quality but he really didn't mind. What makes me not like the camera is the fact that it broke after only a few months of owning it. the button that you press to take a picture stopped working.
Summary: I got this for my 5-Y-O grandaughter to let her get started in photography. The 3.0MP resolution was a major factor vs. the 0.3MP or 1.3MP provided by similar kid-friendly cameras. While the Pixie is still in a two-handed form factor it has enough resolution for her to take moderately serious pictures. The Pixie isn't waterproof but is fairly rugged.
Summary: I bought this for my son's 6th birthday presant. It's all he asked for and it's all he got because we're tight on money this year. Well he and I were both very disapointed by the sad performance of this machine. It started having problems the first day we had it. The picture quality is very poor. The picture taking button broke within 3 uses. And it eats batteries like crazy!!! The only thing that works on the camera right now is the game mode.
Summary: Camera is wonderful. 5 year old daughter loves to use it. Great and easy to use functions. Now she can take her own pictures. Everything on it is awesome. The screw on battery feature is wonderful. She can drop it and the back doesn't pop off. Very sturdy camera.
Summary: The Pixie has very clear pictures for a low megapixel camera. The flash is very bright and will wash colors out. The colors are nicely saturated and true. It's very sturdy. The only con I have with this camera is that you have to screw off the battery cover to replace the batteries. That's a pain. I bought this camera because of it's sturdiness and low price!
Summary: wow i liked the thing, its a 3.0megapixels camera and a game at the same time. I'm sure my 5 years old niece is gonna like it.its very simple and easy to use. can be connected to tv and to computer. mostly made of plastic and its very light. this is my first impression of the product. i tried it once only.
Summary: We thought we were getting a great deal on this camera at an especially reduced clearance price, so we purchased two, one for my son and one for my niece. I should of assumed it was clearanced for a reason! Even with the greatly reduced price-not worth the money! The camera only holds 11-12 pictures and the pictures always turn out fuzzy on the camera's screen, even when an adult uses it.
Summary: This camera is garbage. It takes below average quality pictures and then dies. When I put in fresh batteries, it shows 1/2 battery life. These are not rechargable. In game mode the batteries last about an hour, otherwise you get about 10 pictures. If all that wasn't bad enough, it was accidentally dropped 1 foot and broke.
