Summary: I have had this camera for 2 years. I like the styling because it looks a more expensive DSLR. It takes very good pictures in any light. There are lots of features that make this camera fun to use even for beginners. Great for trips, parties, kids and pets.
Summary: Great cammera for the price. A lot of functions and great features like the detachable display and the night visor. It also boots very fast and has an incredible zoom and a great stabilizer. I'm adding three photos.
Summary: Saturday night I realized the Pentax was in the Post Office. Given that the Post Office is 100 feet up the Alley, I walked over and discovered it had arrived. Summary: I am a longtime Canon fan and was afraid that this camera (which I bought because I wanted a bridge camera with a viewfinder and it was one of the few) would disappoint me in terms of the quality of the images. Quite the contrary.
Summary: Nice camera! It has a nice feel to it. I'd say it is more for an intermediate photographer than a beginner, though. I'm having problems with the software that came with it but hope I can get that ironed out soon.
Summary: I purchased this camera to try to upgrade another very good camera, one that didn't have a viewfinder. After having used this Pentax X-5 for a few weeks or so, I'm convinced it's the best camera I've had. I got such a good buy on this, a number of people would like to find the same buy.
Truly great point and shoot digital camera. Outstanding performance.

Summary: This is an amazing camera for a point and shoot digital camera. The versatility, resolving capability and macro range is outstanding. I would recommend this camera to both beginner and advanced photographer as a camera for those times when you don't want to carry a lot of gear.
Summary: I read a ton of reviews prior buying this camera. The only thing that seemed to stand out as a negative was the flimsy battery door. I disagree with this. As long as you have four fingers and one thumb on each hand this ought not be a problem.
