Summary: The Pentax Q7 features the slightly larger sensor to that of the Q and Q10. The new sensor is much improved in noise performance hence better low light photos and video. Some camera enthusiasts dismiss the Q series because of their small sensors but those small sensors have become the very reason why some dedicated enthusiasts have really embraced the Q; small sensors produce great depth of field, therefore large areas stay in focus.
Excerpt: I love this tiny camera. It gives me the ability to change lenses and shoot RAW and has full manual exposure if I want it, but also lets me always have my camera on me everywhere I go. The images I make with it are more than sufficient quality for the kind of photography I enjoy. That the adapter to let me use my K-mount lenses gives me even more options and gives me what amounts to super-telephoto reach is just icing on the cake.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Summary: For the right person this is a 5-star camera, it may however disappoint others. As a little background, I shoot with a Canon DSLR system, with a bunch of lenses which produce great images and a lot of flexibility, however, it is quite heavy and big, and I don't like to carry it around with me all of the time. I was looking for something small, but still flexible and fun to use with good image quality.

Summary: The camera is great, unbelievable. I was a dedicated Canon EOS til I got the Penax K-50...great camera, but to much to carry on a daily basis. Watched YouTube, saw Bounty, and his rant on the "Q" being the Bestest camera in the world. So I bought it, and have proceed to buy 80 % of the options that fit it. Amazing camera.
Summary: Nice camera. Picture quality is good, especially for the sensor size. The 02 zoom is a great multi purpose lens. Pick up the 01 prime as well for extremely sharp images. I purchased the camera because it was compact and could use a variety of lenses. I did not expect it to be as good as it is. Plus, it's fun and easy to use.
Summary: A go-everywhere system that fits in your pockets, yet yields professional results. A little background; I was a professional photojournalist (newspapers, shooting mostly black & white), so I'm quite fussy about cameras. I had a Pentax Q, and loved it; it gives tremendous results with a little care. I skipped the Q10; it didn't seem like much of an upgrade. I wasn't sure if the Q7 would be; now my only regret is waiting so long.
Excerpt: The Q7 is a nice improvement on the original Q. I want a small carry everywhere camera which I can adapt to the specific task whether at work, home or in the field. The interchangeable lenses make that possible. For hiking I carry the two lenses in this kit in a small belt bag with extra batteries. With the 02 and 06 I am covered from 23mm to 205mm. The image quality when the camera is used carefully is excellent.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Small / Compact
There is a lot of bang for the buck in this camera.

Summary: I realized I needed a small travel camera while in S. America. I had taken a Pentax K-01 mirrorless camera which turned out to be too cumbersome in many situations. I researched this camera for nearly six months before making my purchase. The Pentax Q7 is the smallest interchangeable lens camera available, period. It can be used as a handy point and shoot camera, but spend a little time with it and you will discover it has the flexibility of a fully featured DSLR.
