Summary: I've taken this camera to the beach and snorkeling at least 20 times, as well as using it day to day, and its still working great. I love being able to take digital photos in the pool and ocean, and it seems fairly resilient to sand. It takes really nice quality underwater photos and videos.
Summary: This was my first "Rugged / waterproof" camera. I purchased this camera specifically for using when camping/ hiking/ canoeing. I purchased extra batteries, protective skin case (PESOW60C), LCD Invisible Shield, Floating wrist strap, and 2 crucial 8Gb memory cards in June of 09.
Pros: I have not had to worry about keeping it dry or dust free. It has survived being left in a car in 90 degree weather with the window rolled up for 8hrs. As well as being sat on, dropped from small heights, set down on counters & rocks none to gently. Like the post office it has delivered no matter...
Cons: I don't like the fact that I can not zoom in and out when taking video. You have to set the depth to where you want it and then start taking the video., I do not use the High def video due to the low frame rate., I'm afraid to use it underwater due to other reviews of it not to survive this as we...
Summary: This has been a great camera. Small and has stood up to dirt, water and had use. The optional rubber skin helps.
Pros: Macro shots, form factor and image quality compared to its peers.
Cons: Weaknesses are not at the camera as much as the type. One needs to know the modes and watch the ISO settings. I limit ISO at 400 and use green button mode to go higher in a hurry to make sure I don't have too much grain. Battery life is not great.
super nice point an shoot better than Olympus by far

Summary: I got one off Amazon and was impressed. It takes great pictures if you do not use the auto 800 setting. Just use it at 100 or 200 setting. Great videos. [...] These are three I made for some friends. The controls are easy to use and work. great picture options.
Summary: I had the older Pentax W20 and loved it. Take it on remote float trips in Alaska. Just a great camera. The new W60 is that much nicer. Need a waterproof camera, buy it. Nothing to worry about. Nothing to regret. This product is top shelf.

Summary: Just returning from a great fishing trip where this little camera simply surpassed all expectations. Here is the amazing footage we shot with this great little camera! I guess the only thing I can think of improving would be the way that annoying little droplet of water gathers on the bottom of the...
Summary: This camera was bought simply to be able to snap pictures anywhere. I bought this camera because I was very unhappy with my Canon Powershot and the picture quality I was getting out of it. I owned a Pentax before the Canon and I loved it (unfortunately so did my puppies).
Summary: I loved the original and this one is so much more amazing. The underwater colors are fabulous. The new larger screen perfect to view. I loved the original and this one just makes it that much more fun to own this camera!
