Summary: It takes good photos, is very compact and easy to carry around in my purse. I wish it had a viewfinder as well as the viewscreen as taking photos when it's sunny becomes a bit of a pig in a poke. It seems that I always have to turn the flash off manually unless I want the camera to decide whether or not to use it; I'd prefer it if I could adjust that. I checked and unchecked "flash on" but it made no difference.
Summary: Absolutely LOVE the color (turquoise). The size of the camera is great....small enough for any purse or pocket. I cannot give it the full 5 stars for I have other cameras that actually take better pictures.
Summary: to the average every day whatnots, this camera isn't bad. however, don't move when your taking pictures-the shake reduction is terrible. also, i either haven't figured out how to work the night function, or it just sucks. one must spend a few minutes to learn the functions of the camera to get good up-close pictures, especially in a landscape setting. once learned, the camera can turn out some great distance shots.
Summary: I really like this camera. It has a lot of settings, it is small and sleek. The snap of the photo isn't bad. I still need to read the owners manual to learn more about all the features. The only thing I notice is that the flash is so bright that it almost whites out what you are taking the picture of. I have played with some of the basic settings and taking a photo in "green mode" does seem to help a bit.
Summary: Camera worked well for the price. Took good pictures. Still learning. Hope there won't be a problem with this camera. Would not shut off after taking pictures of my first grand child at the hospital. I had to take battery out and then reinstall. Has worked fine since.
Summary: Produces generally fine pix, but there are some annoying things about it: 1. Screen is virtually useless in bright sunlight. (Ironically, it's slightly better if you remove your sunglasses.) 2. Uses up the battery quickly. I think the time it takes to charge it is longer than the time it takes to exhaust the charge under normal use. 3. Viewfinder has terrible resolution.
Summary: I bought this to replace an old Pentax S5i and I'm very pleased with it. It's very pocketable, which I like, and the image quality is plenty good enough for general photography, i.e. party snaps, days out, etc. It's not up to SLR quality but given it's almost ridiculously low price I think it's a bargain! Looks nice in red too.
