Excerpt: I've always liked the Optio line of cameras. Pentax uses top quality lenses for them, ensuring that you get crisp, clear images that look good even when blown up. The camera has a moderate set of features, and they are laid out in an easy to use interface. If you are looking for advanced features, this camera is not for you. One thing I love about Optios is that they are extremely durable.
Excerpt: When I was in the market for a digital camera, of course my first requirement was that it was reasonably priced. Secondly, I wanted something that took good pictures. Finally, I wanted something that was durable and had lots of options so that I could learn to take better photos. I did some research, and it lead me to the Pentax Optio M50 digital camera. I bought the pink one and have not been disappointed in it!
Excerpt: My husband bought me this camera after my sony one was dunked in the toilet by my three year old. I was unsure of it at first because i was always one to go for what i thought was a well known brand. I tried the camera and went and had some pictures printed off and was floored they came out so well. the camera had more megapixals than my last camera and was so much clearer with the pictures.
Summary: My Dad gave me this camera as a gift and while Im not too prone to taking pictures, when I do its nice to have this camera around. Plugs straight into your computer for easy transfer and takes amazing shots!
Summary: The reviews sounded great, but once I got the camera I was pretty dissapointed to say the least! For the money, yes...It's an ok camera, (If you really don't care about having a ton of blurry pictures)
Summary: This camera is awesome. It is so small and portable. I take it everywhere. The picture qaulity is amazing considering it's size. The only downfall would be the quaility of pictures at night or indoors under light.
Summary: The specifications sounded great but the picture quality didn't live up to it. It's very easy to use and carry around, but colors look washed out the always a bit blurry. I expected more from a 8MP camera.
Summary: Bought this for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it. Uses the basic point and shoot to keep things simple. Just make sure you dont misplace the charger. You can't acess the memory with out the battery power and there's no way to charge it up without a charger or optional AC power. Pics are good and it's easy to use.
