Excerpt: The reviews are damning. After using Olympus Camedia whose lens cover tended to stick and didn't give me the quality of macro photography I wanted from a pocket digital, I purchased Pentax E10.
Excerpt: I bought this camera on vacation for a day-trip to a place where if it got trashed it wouldn't matter much and I didn't want to risk my "regular" gear. I chose Pentax because it always had a reliable lens, and that's to me the key.
Summary: I have to agree with many reviewers about this camera. I won the camera as a door prize at our company Christmas party. I've tried hard to like it, and to learn the camera so it will give me decent shots. But it's just too darn slow and the focus is iffy on all 3 settings.
Excerpt: Ok, here we go, we all want to move up, bigger, better, faster etc,, and the way technology moves onwards these days, having the best or most up to date of everything electrical/gadgety is a financial struggle, and if like me you are getting on a bit, a mentle struggle to understand new technology...
Pros: good looking, compact
Cons: low battery life, needs a steady hand to prevent picture blur
Excerpt: I wanted a quality camera with loads of features but also which would not be overly expensive. At a reasonable price, the E-10 makes for a good quality camera with all the functions expected. It is also nice and small to "slip in your pocket" so is perfect to take with you everywhere.
Excerpt: La qualité des photos est tout à fait correcte; les réglages accessibles au débutant mais l'apppareil se révèle trop fragile, notamment au changements de températures. 4 mois après l'achat, il ne fonctionne plus. Dommage.
