Summary: This is a fine product. Extremely easy to use, good battery life. Images are good quality, but not at extremely close ranges. The red eye reduction, flash and lens are all excellent quality, and as good as you'd find on a $300 camera today. I also liked the way the memory card and battery doors are separate, meaning you do not have to mess with the batteries everytime you need to take out the card.
Summary: Excellent camera for a beginner, and also advanced users. Changing the resolution is a big plus for me. Small size adds to comfort, going through parameters of the camera is very easy. I have old restored cars, and trucks, I set the resolution low to email pictures faster. Can't go wrong buying one of these.
Summary: We bought this camera on a cruise and really loved the ease of starting in the digital camera world. It takes great pics and is simple to use. Have had no problems with it in the last 3 plus years.
Summary: I absolutely love this camera. I purchased the camera in December and have been impressed with the results. It is easy to use and I just love all the features that it offers, especially the 3D mode. I found the night shooting mode gave great results, although you must be careful to keep the camera still, allowing for the longer exposure. I download the photos into iphoto (which also is great) so am not familiar with the software that comes with the optio 330 gs.
Summary: Before I purchased the Optio 330GS I had tried using an early Kodak digital model. It had no zoom, limited functions and drained batteries. In comparison, this camera is a gem. It has everything the novice photographer could ever need: 3 x digital zoom, several picture modes (including self portrait and 'snow and surf' modes), movie function (upto 30 seconds) and a good autofocus. Furthermore it is easy to use and the software provided is fast and efficient.
Summary: This a great little pocket rocket camera. Takes compact flash, uses AA rechargable Nimh batteries and has a 3X fast optical zoom. The Nimh's are the way to go-get the 1800mAh capacity and they will last longer than you think. The lens looks like it's the same as the one on the new nikon 3100. Amazon.com had it on sale...shipped-a screamin deal!
Summary: I bought this camera about two weeks ago and am thoroughly enjoying it. My only complaint is that it doesn't have quite as many manual features as I would like (I have been using an SLR). Overall it seems to be a good little camera, but you will probably need to get another CompactFlash card before you do any serious photography as the one that comes with it only holds about 9 photos at highest quality. The quality of the pictures is great!
Summary: I know Pentax is one of the best cameras, this time they made it, it's perfect, so easy to operate, it takes so clearly the pictures, I just love it. Just buy a Big Compact Flash and enjoy the show!!!
Summary: This is my first digital camera, I bought it in December, after researching cameras for several months. I had narrowed my search down to a couple of Sony's and a Kodak, but bought this one after a long talk with a knowlegdable sales clerk. And I have not regretted my decision!! I love the compact size of the camera, and that I could take it out of the box and start using it immediately as a simple point and shoot camera, while reading up on all the extra features, and...
Summary: The camera is great to use and has a lot of neat features quick capture, flip out display, one step review, small size avi viedeo. It would be better if it could record sound with the video. I would have given it a 5 star rating except for dissappointng performance using 2 AA batteries. The CR V3 lithium battery is not rechargable and very expensive, however does last a long time.
