  • Summary: this is my favorite DSLR. Good anti-shake buildt in, even for M42 lenses. Phantastic! Menue is very easy. sensor CHIP gives a lot of details. colors: very high saturation possible contrast: high sharpness: excellent 100-400 ISO, very good 800-1600 ISO additional battery grip for AA cells
  • Pros: very high resolution sensor chip with 10 MP, AA batteries, good anti-shake
  • Cons: missing ISO higher than 1600. It doesn't eliminate CA's as K-x

  • Summary: We bought this camera in 2008 and as our 1st DSLR camera it was great. It was easy to use and took good enough pictures for us. We didn't use it very often, then sometime last year we took it out and after a couple shots it said the batteries were dead.

  • Summary: Still go a soft spot for this camera, and its getting used een more now I have the k5II (I'm feeling braver about using the k200d on bike rides, and walks and with out being sacrificial about it I just feel braver.) In good light it takes very pleasing shots.
  • Pros: Sturdy, WR, simple operation, awesom ergonomics, second LCD screen, AA bateries
  • Cons: Slow focus, noisy at above around 800

  • Excerpt: I love this camera for the price. It has it's downside, including poor low light performance (though 1600 ISO doesn't look that bad). Autofocus can seek a bit much and the thing is noisy, but I wouldn't trade it for all the Nikons in the world. It FEELS like a real camera.
  • Pros: Build quality, top LCD, price, AA batteries
  • Cons: Autofocus, low light performance

  • Excerpt: I cannot think of a better designed - for its time - entry level camera; actually, it is more than an "entry level" camera; it is a camera that one can grow with for years.
  • Pros: Fantastic build quality; excellent range of features
  • Cons: a bit outdated when it comes to high ISO

  • Summary: Pros * Beginner Setting [For those unfarmiliar w/ SLRS] * Advanced Settings [For those very familiar] Cons * Heavy weight * Hard to set in certain lighting [Just like most DSLRS] Overall, It takes good photos. My picture quality is really dependent on the lens I use.
