Summary: Wondered about buying a used camera and wondered why the seller listed it as "Very Good" instead of "Like New". Still wonder. Camera is basically like new. Wish it came with the over 300 page manual. Anyway, needed a more capable camera in addition to my beloved Canon A510. Happy that I can use my old K1000 lenses. I put one on last night but have to look up the settings because it wouldn't fire. Need some tweaking, apparently.
Summary: Too bad she rarely used the thing. Why does every girl think they're a photographer? That being said, at the time I purchased it this was a very good camera, I'm sure it would be able to hold its own today but the one thing is that it only filmed in 720. The variety of colors you can choose from is cool though.
Summary: I love this camera. I'm an artist, and was looking for a sturdy, budget DSLR to shoot images of my artwork, and video for promotion, and my Pentax delivers. Pictures I've taken with it have required minimal editing, if any. I'm satisfied with the video quality, especially for the price. Viewing youtube videos shot by the Pentax K-X sold me on it. My only complaint is with the audio quality, but it's a problem easily fixed with something external.
Summary: We have had this camera now for over 3 years and have taken thousands of photo's. We absolutely love it. Not only is it nice to look at but it takes great pictures and great videos (in good light).
Summary: I was an imaging professional during my working career own mostly Nikon systems at home and Canons in the office. Two years ago, I needed to decide on a new DSLR for my own personal (travel and daily) use. After much researches, I settled on this Pentax which gave me the features and price point I wanted. This was a very basic (entry level) DSLR, but for traveling and casual photography, it produced outstanding imageries that made me happy.
