Summary: I love this camera. Either i take really good pictures or the quality of the camera is superb. Probably the second one. The layout is kinda similar to Cannon but after you go through everything its quite easy. People will turn heads and admire your camera.
Summary: I'm a novice at digital SLR so I'm having a new adventure. I am trilled with this camera and so far - pretty darn easy to navigate. And better yet, my other Pentax K-mount lenses work with it too.
Summary: Everyone has Nikon or Canon....I did some research and found out that this camera performs jst as well....and I like that I don't see a ton of these around people's necks like the Canon EOS or Nikon D series.
Excerpt: I've owned the k2000 and k-x and thought those 2 were good cameras. I like this Pentax as well. My favorite part is the rechargeable lithium ion batteries, as the k2000 and k-x used AA batteries that were used up quickly. Cosmetically, I like it that they left the silver decorative chrome off this model. This camera performs well with high ISO settings.
Summary: My first SLR was a Pentax. I like Pentax cameras and find this camera satisfactory for the family photographs which I take now. It is very good in available light situations and has a great range of aperature and lens speed choices. Battery life is good. If you own other Pentax lenses, they will most likely work on this camera on manual settings. I recommend this camera for general use.
Summary: This was my well researched purchase. I've traveled internationally into hard and dusty climates with this and it is a trooper. I have gotten compliments on the vivid color of the photos and have gotten jobs I didn't expect because I can take some really nice shots with this machine. I pretty much have to buy accessories (lenses, etc) on line because the city I live in isn't big on Pentax, but it still was a great choice. I'd buy it again.
