Summary: We took our older Lumix to the beach, with no case. We ended up buying a new one in Kona, Costco prices were the same in Hawaii as Colorado. The only disappointment is that the old batteries did not fit.
Pros: zoom quality pictures and lots of auto and manual shooting modes
Cons: pushbutton controls are easy to hit by accident different battery than last model
Summary: In 2010 I purchased my first Panasonic Lumix point and shoot camera after seeing the wonderful telephoto shots from South Africa. I still have that camera but the telephoto lens does not work. In 2012 I purchased another model of the camera – it stopped in June with a ‘system error’ and just died. I purchased the last camera on July 31, 2014 and used it a lot during warranty period trying evaluate the performance.
Pros: excellent clarity in photos - good focus with zoom
Cons: 3 cameras the lens was - slow - stopped - locked
Summary: This was my 4th Panasonic. This was a disappointment. The camera can take good pictures. I've enjoyed using my other Panasonic cameras but not this one. the controls on the top are flat and have no tackle feel. The mode dial is easily moved by accident. The movie button is hard to press. Subject do not fill the LCD. I am not keeping this camera. If you have this camera be sure it has firmware 1.2. A youtube video shows how to install it. I did not try the WiFi.
Cons: slow slow focus auto flash setting is not retained after shutdown bulkier and heavier than last year's model zs25 the zx25 was a much better camera
Summary: Got this Lumix ZS35 for the spouse to carry a second compact point+shoot with the addition of WiFi since our Lumix ZS25 has been such a success. The "IA" mode works well for good shots when you are concentrating on the scenery or subject.

Summary: I recently bought this camera. My Last two cameras have been Panasonic and I loved them. I took some photos with this camera and downloaded them to my computer. I tried to use my photo editing program to enhance some of the photos. The editing went fine but when I tried to save them back to my computer it wouldn't let me. I have no problems with my old Panasonic.
Summary: Rassssssssss!! This camera is so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww for everything! Little piece of crap!! 22-Nov.-2014 Two weeks of full test, conclusion is it is a battery eater or something is wrong with the software, screen shows Full Charge but the camera is dead, charge the battery come to the live, and again..., over, and over, and over, etc. You won't take more than 50 pictures with this crap.
I have had 4 lumix cameras and am very disappointed in this flimsy assembly

Summary: My shutter release popped off and won't go back on after the second week and yes, I did store it in it's case. The factory refurbished warranty doesn't mean anything because when I called Panasonic to tell them it came off they said it's not covered under the warranty......I have had 4 lumix cameras and am very disappointed in this flimsy assembly.
Summary: This is the best camera I have ever used. This is my third one as I haven't found anything that is even close. The 20x zoom in this tiny package is great. If you play around a little with the settings, you'll get the most fantastic pictures. For example, the sunset preset is perfect for taking pictures of fall colors or anything else where you want to see the vibrant colors. This little camera out performed a $700 camera on zoom shots (not even close).
